I was 10 when I met the wolves that became my family. Three of them surrounded me, I thought for sure I was going to die. Then one of them brought a rabbit carcass to me. I started a fire and shared a meal with my new family. They taught me how to survive, I taught them how to avoid humans. They were the first real family I ever had.
