if you were to make a bigger better version of hex empire one, and put it on steam, i would buy it. People don’t want what’s in two and three. All we want is hex empire one with bigger maps and more enemies.

ah, OK. looks better, don’t like the missile approach but its better the 3, missing the one AP multi move aspect. must still be developing i hope.

It’s about reverting completely the game with some well thrown companies, its about taking and holding the cities as hard as you can after that, so they dont restore the front near me, and so I can beat their encircled stormtroopen, and then invert the battlefield, so I have the upper hand. Nien, make me lose morale when losing the cap, but losing the whole game when losing a city? geez.
Also, if the game pace will be slower, add in some more diplomacy and/or tech sistems :D (Movement speed, movement on not-so-steep hills, water movement, city defense, production [troops], supplies and leadership [morale])
Also, reinforce mechanics, to make cities more defensable, geez, cities are so easy to take, and shetloads of troops in a desert are undyable (supplies, atrittion, where are you??)

And the hard mode was hard, but for one key reason: The AI all go just for you.
In the entire game I didnt once see the different factions attack each other…

In the entire game I didnt once see the different factions attack each other’s armies once. They all focused on trying to take my capital, almost working together.
While it did make the game harder for a while, eventually it led to the factions trapping their own armies by each other, with each side refusing to attack each other to get out. This made conquering them very easy.
My point is, when you make Hex Empire 3, just be sure that the hard mode doesnt mean that the enemies all just go for you.
It kinda loses the good random feel of the game when that happens.
Just my opinion :). Id rate Hex Empire as one of my favourite online games, and I look forward to seeing the new one when its released :).
(I may even contribute if I can get the money ;D).
Hex empire rocks. Most games quickly bore me, even risk which this is similar too, but I keep coming back. I think you should consider the concept of the game GO, where taking all the liberties (free spaces) equals conquered tiles. You could incorporate that with the addition method already used in HE and create a quality strategy game. Great game …

I’ve tried the hex empire 2, I think it is good :) I am quite sure you would still get a bunch of players if you post it on Kongregate. Btw, is hex empire 3 multiplayer too? Multiplayer would be great…
