I love these games, I really do. Would be even more fun if you made a whole bunch of mini games so it can randomize between games, or even, switch up the order that the games play in. One bug though, on the pinata game, spamming the spacebar enough lags the game and timer enough to get massive amounts of points on that one game alone
To be honest, for this to be labeled under the puzzle tag, I'm not sure how much of a puzzle this is. HOWEVER, for a Unity game, you can clearly see a lot of work was put into it. Couple problems I came to find was, if on the very edge of the platform you have no momentum to proceed and have to descend, once the bug/fly/bee whatever catches up to you, if it gets on top of you you instantly die. It'd be nice to have invincibility frames when hit to avoid that. The bug/fly/bee graphic itself is really off, it offsets the nice art style you have going for the game. I think so anyways... The only puzzle I see really is to find the key, and find the door, but other than that, it is a survivor platformer I think
It is interesting that both this game and this one http://www.kongregate.com/games/Aiursrage2k/big-8-mini-putt#recent_comments have just about the same everthing. However, you've done WAY better in variety, and it is alot more fun than the other game. I hope that, when you are done with this game (I hope this isn't the final) that you put sides on all of the walls so it isn't just, 'floating in space for the most part. A camera control would be nice. It'd also be nice if you can get various degrees of slopes to add more variety, if that makes sense
Some criticism I would like to toss at you, as an avid mini golf enthusiast:
The pars you have set for some holes, for example hole 16 on Course A, are unrealistic. In this particular hole, if I remember right, you must weave through 2 structures before taking a shot at the hole. Because the ball does not bounce off walls as it should, even at maximum power, you cannot reach that par.
Your terminology appears to be off. I got a birdie (1 less than par) on a par 3. It was incorrectly labeled as an albatross. Terminology goes as thus, bogey(over par), par, birdie9(-1), eagle(-2) and albatross(-3).
Because this is a 3D environment, I would like to have some form of camera rotation control. The ball can be nestled on a edge that you cannot see, making seemingly perfect shots spoiled by hitting the edge you couldn't see based off the angle of the camera.
There is more I can say, but, I think that is all I will say for now
I like the idea, but two complaints, those sound effects are kind of sharp and can get annoying. Also, I'd like to move dynamic objects by dragging any part of the object, not just by the small green box
:D :D :D Thanks Chatbot!!
