I'm having a hard time getting the "Life Saver" gold achievement. I've clearly gotten at least 5 life savers total in several games but it won't count that I've gotten it. Also, after playing it for a long time it doesn't get anymore difficult, which means it's not that hard to play it forever, although that's probably not a bad thing XD Other than that, awesome game.
Oh come on guys, game designers need to make money to eat, live, and make more games. If you want to support his work, just deal with the ads. It's the same way with Blib and Hulu. The ads give the authors enough money to make a living.
Ok, first of all, my bad for comparing it with another game, that was uncalled for. Next, read the instructions, there is lots of grammatical errors and at least one spelling error. And yes, I was harsh on the music, but imo a mute button doesn't excuse poor quality. However, the music did get MUCH better later when different tracks appeared, sorry I didn't realize that. And yes, I've tried hitting the meteors coming straight down on the side but it still doesn't work very well and sometime takes 5-10 shots for a single meteor. Also, the only difference later on is more, bigger, meteors, although those last two complaints could be just considered part of the game instead of faults. Perhaps ideas for a sequel could involve different approaching to meteors and guns?
Also, perhaps you could make it possible for the meteors to collide with each other and cause some damage? This would make things more interesting and the physics of it could be fun to play with.
1 - This has already been done in Red, but better. 2 - learn proper grammar and spelling. 3 - please use music that doesn't annoy me. 4 - please provide some differences between levels to encourage people to keep on playing, like different weapons or meteors. It would also make it a bit more different from other attempts at a game like this. 5 - Please fix it so that it doesn't take forever to get rid of meteors coming straight down. New weapons might work well here.
The fact that nothing new happens after you reach space really lowers the replay value of this. I would advise adding in more things to happen after that, perhaps reaching another planet and seeing new items? Maybe you reach Santa's workshop? As it stands it gets boring quickly and is to simple.
Maybe it's just me, or perhaps the update with them following gold, but many times the adventurers just walk back and forth for no reason. It's really annoying, especially when there's not that much that I can do about it because of all the preset tiles that are causing them to act that way.
*reads epilogue* A princess, his guard, a demon, all....wait wait wait wait wait. A princess and HIS guard? Is there something about Genoveve that I should know?
Is it just me or is accuracy way to hard? Having to press the exact pixel in order to get a perfect seems a bit to much. It seems to be the only one that nobody has gotten 100% for yet.
What are the coins useful for? I mean, yeah, you collect them, but why? Does getting them all unlock something? Do you buy anything with them? Right now they seem just in the way of me getting a fast time and avoiding switching to get trophies.
