When I first played it I didn't know I'd like it so much... Although the escaping thing gets irritating over time, I thought that it was quite an interesting idea. I especially liked how the artifacts, magic skills and money was preserved when you escaped. Though the final boss was a tad too easy after all that levels we had gone through...

way too easy. I escaped at level 7 to get the badge, then beat the rest of the game without coming close to dying. still, quite fun. 5/5

It felt a little tough at first, but once I found the first heal spell it moved right along. Good graphics, excellent music, enough learning curve to stay interested, I loved it! 5/5 from me!

Beat the game! Final boss is a bit too easy. He was only dealing about 40-50 damage to me and I was dealing like 400 lol. But really it felt really good fighting him and beating him. This is a really good game. But you have to make a new one with some better graphics. Also having to escape just to save is really annoying and maybe in a sequel there could be auto-save and the challenge should be more towards the combat. And if you really want to make the game perfect you could throw in some challenge rooms and maybe some puzzles.

I absolutely LOVE this game! But one note is that the game is a little too luck-based. Depending on what items and gold you find the game from then on will either be really hard or really easy. Also I wish that in order to get to each shop you had to fight an individual boss. I would have liked more bosses instead of just at the end. So if you reach floor 9 you would fight the first boss who is really easy and if you got to like floor 69 you fight a hard boss. It would have been great to see that.

All in all great game but a few complaints. 1) Magic is hard to use the only way u can use it is getting the spell ready before you engage in battle. 2) Glitches in buying stuff sometimes. 3) way too easy after you get an artifact for every slot and after about floor 30. 4) Elemantal defense i found almost useless and if your going to give us things that make it over 100 why cap it at 100. 5) selling is way too tedious, ive needed to sell most of my inventory (which was like 60 items at the time) and it took me 5 friggin minutes!! needs a seprate category or at least a shift click feature. and last 6) the last boss battle and after it? really... need i say more? but all in all a pretty solid game 4/5

I think I'm going to cry, I was a few levels from the end when i stop paying attention to my health and died now im all the way back on floor 1 with crappy gear. Game becomes far too easy past say floor 29 or when you get a good artefact weapon, after that every fight is 1-2 rounds. Also, magic isn't very useful, since I can cast 1 strike every 7 battles I win and it does equal to or less than my sword swing.
This game is simple but great(and frustrating if you screw up :P). 4.5/5.

And also, @developer, one little thing that always makes a world of difference: show items cosmetically. If I equip a shield, I want to see a shield. Otherwise, totally, 4.75/5.

@jesse 482: if u use elemental attack on something without a resistance to it, it adds more damage that you would do normally. If the enemy IS resistant to your attack, however, yes it is useless. get it?

For some reason both the amulet of wealth and the amulet of alchemy are giving me kind of random gold drops from enemies instead of a percentage more like they actually say. An enemy has 5 gold, I have amulet of alchemy which gives +50%, and yet sometimes I get 4 gold from the enemy and sometimes 6, neither of which is 50% in either direction.

So maybe I don't understand elemental attack and defense properly, but isn't elemental attack bad b/c it just adds something to be resistant to? is there any advantage to it?

It has all the good stuff that hack and slasher adventure games have, minus the boring hacking and slashing part.
I felt like it was one instant dungeon after the next. The goodies really kept me going. Funny how people like me, like opening treasure chests. I guess it's for the thrill of not knowing what your gonna find.
LOL I elemented my defense to +170 water, and like +100 air on the final boss lol. he was easy, I think I only fooded once. I thought he was gonna be crazy hard, wasn't sure if I was gonna have enough consumables to beat him. All in all there's room for improvement, I would like to see more armor/weapons/items, monsters have higher attack rates, the use of elemental defense in order to survive making it even harder.

I don't really understand the elemental attack stuff. For example, the plain attack on the dragon slayer is higher than the witch sword, but the witch sword is worth more. Do all the +5 elemental attacks combine up to make a higher total attack? If anyone can explain, it'd be much appreciated.

for some information: the level isnt always the same. and just for the heck of it, level 25 for me was the room with nothing but 4 chest and a couple of money bags. no monsters, just those 6 items. i felt awesome. then it went back a whole bunch of monsters

@Murder Machine Well you said the system was bullshit, and the level you couldnt get through was the easiest level in The Enchanted Cave :P And you have no need to take the "minus" on your comments personal, almost 70% of comments gets a minus anyway, like my will do now :3

I think that whatever u can't get in the shop (blocked by walls) is a idea of the loot cause I only get artifacts when there is a gold chest in the shop

really good game but after floor 40 the game is pretty easy btw it was wuite obvius who the last boss was going to be :D

After level 20 it got too easy... I guess just have to wait to the new tougher enemies but it would be good if you could set the difficulty later to higher.
