nice game, i completed it a while ago, before it had badges :'(, and now whenever i click new quest, it goes black, then back to the title screen,
oh yeh, 5/5 for the awesome game, i like how you collect the artifacts to see monsters hp and such, also combat was a bit confusing (attack speeds and of the like)

Here's a little trick.
Get the escape wing in floor 4 and then proceed until your sure you can't survive another fight, escape and you will keep all of your stats, artifacts and gold.

I have to agree with gamenovice.. My rating goes down to 3/5 for the whole "dieing completely ruins the whole game" feature... This game did come pretty close to being what I call perfect.. But all good things have an equally bad defect...

From the recent comment, it sounds like a lot of people aren't really reading the instructions or listening to the shopkeeper. I'm on my second time through the dungeon. I've done about 40 floors in 10 minutes. The "Blade of the Chosen" simply pwns all enemies. I'm knocking the crap out of everything for about 450 points of damage... Magic needs reworked though. Another thing that would be nice is some sort of indicator for when you enter a new level as you often have to search the screen to find out where your character is.

Could do with adding a highlight to the stairs on the levels from 20 to whatever the cave changes appearance at next, cause it's hard to spot them at first glance.

I've always been a big fan of Rogue-like games. Very well implemented and I like the stat/artifact carry-over scheme to delve deeper. However, I could buff magic somehow, as I have yet to find it - at any time - to be better than hack'n'slash. Click'n'drag for spells doesn't quite work unfortunately.

completed the game in one run ... and I really hated it when it came out; for the reasons others mention here as well. You need luck that you get the healing spell and the equipment at the right time... if not ... you have to start all over gain.

I still remember Lufia's Ancient Cave as the hardest side quest in an RPG I ever played. Took me years to finish it. ;)

I have to agree with others... the game is too easy. Maybe the angry goblin guy shoul dbe made harder so to make less skilled players avoid him at the start, but i can go though like five or six floors before my health even reaches the halfway point. Other than that, the game itslef is fantastic. Great design and easy to learn gameplay, smooth animation. thanks for making this, 5/5

what the... escaped on floor 75, came back on floor 59, and just had all that crap items from the begining?! how are you supposed to kill a 400hp turtle with a 20 attack knife?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
WHAT THE HELL. I get to floor 29, at least 14 artifacts, great armor, lots of money to buy health potions, and I save up for the night. I come back today and NOTHING IS THERE. :C

Everty third floor should have a shop. that way you can buy health potions then continue on with your quest wihtout worrying that you won't make it

Good game but... I haven't even got the Cave Dweller badge and I already won :). The difficulty might want to be put a bit higher, but 5/5 though

absolutely loved the game... until i reached floor 95 without saving starting from floor 9... and then got smushed by a golem by pressing the wrong key NOOOOOOOOO! 5/5!

there is nothing worse than getting loads of artifacts, running out of mp to cast heal and healing potions and dying @ the stairway to the shop :'(

I got to lvl 12 and skeletons blocked all way and i died. Lizards, goblins, skeletons and red bats does huge damage and they have been mostly my way when going trough floors and because there is not enough health potions, so on game is based on luck. (What you will get in first floors, will matter in next floors. You get luckily good items when bad luck you get items what is not make you survive trough next floors because you losing too much health.)

It'd be great if you could see the armor, weapons, shields, and such that you put on your character, rather than him always wearing that blue.

Oh My D:
WHY CANT YOU FKING USE ITEMS IN A MOTHERFKING BATTLE²
I've lost LOOOOOTS o' good stuff DYING -.-'
1-Considering that we already lose our itens when we die,why can't we use Potions or Escape Wings?
2-Using a Escape Wing should teleport us for the last shop visited.I was on Floor 19,Floor 15 has a shop.I used a Escape Wing and get back to Floor 1 D:

There are a couple of massive flaws in this game. First of all, you occasionally just happen to lose your equipment, which is massively irritating because I just lost to a monster I could easily beat. Also quite annoying, the stock system in the market-thingy. When you reach higher levels, it is very annoying when you finaly reach a market just to find out it has just 1 lousy small health poison or something. Also, the health poisons are to expensive and the value of your items do not match their selling price. The system with the 'when you reach lvl 19, you can get back to lvl 9 etc' is not handy. I would have rather seen a simple save and load function. These elements take a lot of the fun out of the game and therefore I give this game therefore a (2/5). Why not (1/5)? The basics are quite good and if you take out these flaws it will be a great game. Unfortunately, they are there and the game is therefore a giant source of frustration.

xD the cave falcon looks more like a cave duck to me
but its a very fun game i only need to earn 1 more badge now the boss badge

using magic can be annoying because dragging your spells takes too much time xp but for a first game, i have to say wow :) it's really great ^^ 5/5

Reminds me of the lufia 2 - 99 level dungeon. I liked that too. You got to replay the dungeon a few times over before you can finish all 100 levels, which equals replayability. 4/5
