Part 2: Wave 4-8: Constantly heal with the repair bot bot not fully, and max out damage upgrade and plating. Wave 9-15: Start making more Cruiser Drones (they are the combat units, also remember to make Control Drones!) until you have 4 on each side (8 altogether). These drones should be in groups of 2, in a square formation, and facing where the enemy approaches. After every round, fix this up to make them face that way. This is useful for attacking enemies quickly, and to kill missiles, since they 1 hit your ships. Wave 15-30: Upgrade Thrust to full, continue healing and replace Cruiser Drones when necessary. This should get you easily to wave 30 if you understand my words, and you can even get a further 5 waves from this. After that, it gets tough. But its enough for the hard badge. Good luck everyone!

Survival Mode tips (vote up if helpful) Part 1: The trick is to max damage then plating. Thrust you can get later on. Each technology gets you 100 points. First wave: get damage upgrade, plating upgrade, and make a Cruiser Drone. When the 2 enemies come on map, look for the drone fighter, it moves faster and have the cruiser go after it, then move it to kill the other enemy incoming towards the main ship. Wave 2: Buy another Cruiser Drone. Place the drones where enemies approach. Wave 3: Buy a Cruiser Drone, and a repair bot. 1 repair bot is enough to last you through 30 waves. Just use the time for the 1 repair bot to slowly heal, although not fully, but nearly full. Again, place them where the enemy comes.

the best RTS in flash, hands down, controls and overall gameplay have some holes that keep from the fame and glory it deserves but seeing how this is flash RTS it is understandable

I let myself die because it had been a while in survival and YOU CAN'T SEE YOUR SCORE. And guess what I got? 3,700... Was pisssssed.

Great game! Slightly slow and it sucks when enemies attack you and you don't have any defences, but Arcade was promising and boy was I right. I loved level 8 :)

i dont know why but every time i try to select a unit by clicking on it it just deselects at the same time. It is selected for about 0.2 se but thats just a bit too short time to do anything with the units. What am i doing wrong? When i played it about half a year ago it worked just fine. B the way key 0 does nothing (should select mothership)

heres a way to do it in skirmish:build 9 cash drones[10] upgrade refinery,thrusters,defence,then attack in order and build some control drones 2-3 reccommended then just free style
and attack when u need to'

Not bad. Arcade mode feels kinda like just one 8-level tutorial, with no real meat in it. Survival mode needs some tweaking, for instance: If the waves are going to get harder, then you should get more ore per wave. Perhaps an extra 10/wave (i.e. 100 on the 1st wave, 110 on the 2nd, 120 on the 3rd, etc.). This could be bolstered even further with research into refinement. Controls are a little kludgy, sometimes taking an extra second to react when I click something, sometimes not at all. Could've been worse though. Not bad for a Flash RTS. 4/5

O.o i lost the survival because i wasn't able to make my ships attacking
nuclear missiles are not fair!it miss wasd scrolling in the minimap(i made a macro for this...)
i want some ship like a LONG range artillery ship(yes i come from eridani:D)
please reduce the cost of repairing at 1 ore for 3point repaired; sometimes you spend more money by repairing than buying a new drone!

The game is one we've all seen in one form or another before, but I like this as much as any other. Id like a little more customization and different ships to work with

Come to think of it, Drone Wars is a rip off of a game called Erandi. Still a good game, concept is pretty good but would like a storyline. 5/5. VERY addicting
