the only thing to make the game better would be to make the control used updated as soon as you click.. anyhoot its kick ass, but I dont understand survival mode, and it makes me mad...

absolutely pissy controls. I tell the drone to move, it sits there and keeps fighting the stronger ship. How can you expect to win survival, if your ships won't listen?

why wont mission 6 end? I have a scout unveiling every single part of the map, the timers been gone for a while, no enemies have come for 10+ minutes, i have all the tech upgrades, full ore... idk whats wrong!

I don't know who Greg is, but if he's in charge of choosing what games are good enough for badges, I don't like him. Is he also responsible for making planet defender a badge game?
The slowness and loads of bugs are really making it hard for me to enjoy this. I refuse to make repair drones cous it's so frustraiting to control, I mean, trying to control them.

Really was enjoying it on Arcade mode, Excellent up until then. Then the mission 7/8 really confused me, I have 15 minutes timer. And amission brief which says "Fight an enemy colony defend the earth" So I spent 15minutes, Building up around 20 Attackers sitting them around the earth and just killing any invaders that came my way, So I thought this was right an I had to survive for 15minutes. I get down to 0:00 and Mission failed, I was then told that you had to find the enemys base camp and destroy it. This WASN'T clear in the mission briefing, Maybe you could update it for idiots like me who don't read between the lines they just do what there told. Other than that great 4.5/5 Would have been 5/5 But the mission briefing put me off.

BTW: 1.) You can bind units (learn to read)
2.) Getting 2.000 points is easy
3.) Scroll over the entire map? Why not click on the map in the left corner? (guess Youtube didn´t tell you)

With this game, you can sort out the old style RTS Lovers like me, and the Ego-Shooter and PlanetDefender Generation, combined with the cheaters and Only-Play-What-Youtube-says game-players.

Survival mode is ridiculous and simply unenjoyable. It would be awesome if you got a bit more than 100g per round, but christ.

This game was fun. The only thing you could argue against it is that it's not starcraft. I'm clueless as to what these supposed glitches are supposed to be, and I've probably played it 3x as much as you guys. Wonderful execution. A little more complexity would make it more interesting. Plus the ai should build stuff a little faster. Great game.
If you would have read the instructions you would know how to bind units.

i nearly got to level 30, but because my drones were too retarded to shoot down those giant missle drones, each wave i lost a unit. thanks a lot

5. Working through the arcade mode, I reached level 8 and messed up some things, so I wanted to restart. I quit to the menu, clicked on arcade, it says "You are on mission 8/8 and with ... points." Three options: Restart. Cancel. Continue. I wanted to restart the level. I pressed Restart. I'm now on Mission 1! CLEAR THIS OUT FOR GOD'S SAKE.
6. Let every drone have its attack, whether it'll take down 1 damage or a million. Even the villagers in Age of Empires had knives.
7. More hotkeys. A hotkey for EVERYTHING.
8. When you select a group that has both aggressive and passive bots, it doesn't let you attack drones. The problem will be fixed along with Number 6.
9. More/different music. It repeats itself too much for me.
10. When I select the mothership, I want to see a list, somehow, of what technologies/drones are on the way. Fix this somehow.

I'll give it a 3 instead of a 2 to be nice.
My short list of reasons why this game just ISN'T:
1. Laggy. Of course, it's a really big game with lots of different units, so it's hard to make. If it's laggy, even though it's great, it ruins everything.
2. Controls. It's one of the only RTS flash games out there, that works well, yet the controls SUCK. Make right-clicking availabe so that we can play this could-be-good RTS game just like any other RTS games (Ex., right click = move/attack unit, left click is only to select units).
3. Combined with the previous two, it makes it too hard. Not only is the game hard due to lag and horrible controls, it's just really hard (Survival mode). Sure, you could say "Practice a lot and you'll eventually get it". No. We need to at least get an increasing number of ores, even 20 more ore each wave would work.
4. GOD, just don't let the mothership move. In any mode.

Not really a big fan of the SC-type game. Not too happy about playing this game for the replay card. Despite that, the graphics are okay. Navigating the map can be a pain during crucial moments.

avg game, I dont know if its my (work)computer but theres huge lags when theres a lot of units around, making the later waves in survival impossible as I cant control my units. Also some units wont even follow my commands, they just keep doing their own thing sometimes.

4/5 because the concept is good and this is very complex for a flash game and it has taken a lot of wordk, I suppose. but as many people said. it has many flaws.keep the good work and improve it

It would be nice if there were a way to zoom in and out on the map. Scrolling across the screen is somewhat bothersome. Also, a control panel for created units with their type, current comand, and location would be extremely useful.

I usually love games like this, but this one was poorly executed and glitchy. Survival mode was a complete chore due to the perfectly equal powers of all units, I only made it to 20 by swarming 4 cruisers together and singling out enemies. By that point though, repairs cost me more then I earned. I died on wave19, but quickly queued up a speed upgrade for the last 100 points I needed.

Would be a much better game, if the ships didn't stand around after killing the first unit, waiting for additional commands (and even this last time, even after I told it to attack the other enemy ship, it stood there until it was destroyed). Sorry, in my opinion, too many big bugs to have received card/badges for this game. Arcade mode seemed to work fine. Survival mode, just a bad idea from what I've seen/experienced. Otherwise, a good game though.

1) Just because you can try to make Starcraft in flash doesn't mean you should. 2) Bad controls make for bad games. Trying to control stacked ships is endlessly frustrating. 3) Greg's outdone himself when it comes to picking an inappropriate game for the weekly challenge.
