David 1000, the reason you can't research refinement in Survival mode is because you have no need to. Do you see asteroids anywhere?

Glitching like mad for me. An Enemy Silo drone is stuck in mid explosion and it counts as if its till a unit so I can't get any further in Arcade mode. Now thats annoying and deprives it of all fun.

Thanks for the help, couldn't get past level 11/12 - but got to 32+ and quit. got 4100 - this game is tricky use the help the others have posted. just keep trying - eventually you will figure it out. finally, after a while you get 200+ ore a level.

Shocking game, buggy with awful controls... poor choice for a challenge card, i dont mind tough challenges.. but not with games like this :S

command system needs work. If I tell silo drones to attack the mother ship, and there is an enemy fighter near, the game will overide my command. However, if I repeatedly order it to attack, then the missiles will alternate between heading toward my target or the automatically-selected target

rather buggy, controls need some work (select/move ends up canceling each other out) my silos weren't shooting after a while, needs some way to 'lead' the target whent hey shoot

has potential but needs better drones like shield drones to soak up damage and better upgrades like flares to deflect silo drones missiles other than that good job! by the way if your troops are under mothership click and drag on mother ship and u select all troops under it

this game was good,but it was a bit long and easy,not too impressive...But hey, what can you expect from gamebrew.com?That site is depressingly pathetic,go look for yourself.

the ai (including your ships) are just too stuipid... OMG! the silo drones are so slow you click attack and they just .............. then they fire ..... they die .... and then they kill the enemy (silo drones are shocking) poor game to easy and to bad conttrols and rather boring 2/5

With the Upgrade, the survival Changed.. Now the drone warrior badge must be changed into a Medium one.. is not an hard badge =_= Before was Hard.. now.. with all that ore that you receive each time you complete a wave.. is just hilarious ==""""

ok.. very easy if u first get the right opening, tried two-three times before i got it right.. cruisers and repair + research.. nothing else.. exept control that is:P

Great stratergy to do hard badge/card challange.
Build Cruisers, then another cruiser, then a repair ship. Then Researc all damage, all defence, all trusters.(This may sound wierd but trust me it works) Then build another repair ship then as many cruiserrs as you can and if you consentrate you can go on forever tho i got borad after wave 35

Boring as hell.. I was playing for the card, didnt get it because I guess I didnt hit submit or something.. I really don't want to play survival mode again.. I survived 10 waves longer then I wanted to..

"is there a glitch in level two? cuz i build the repair drones, repaired the mother ship and nothings happening….." In lvl 2 you must repair a controll drone as well

wow i almost thought people were actually right when complaining about AI and how difficult survival was... i hadn't tried it cause of the lag, but when i finally did... i made it through wave 32 not building a single thing since wave 25 and i wasn't even repairing

The only thing you need for this game is Cruiser drones and repair drones, the rest is up to you....how to use them, ect...

Got some serious bugs that need to be worked out. Definitely not worthy of being a featured game, especially one with a card achievement.

Wow... this game is way too easy on survival mode. I got bored with it at level 40 and just auto-sent waves one after the other without builds/repairs/etc and didn't die until wave 45. To TheLostAngel... the strategy works... I have no idea what you are doing wrong. Remember to upgrade your stuff. Other than that, no idea. Way too easy.

dunno if it will help but you can put the control drones at the corner on survival mode and no one would attack them ^^

Is this a bug? I have 200+ ores but I can't research lvl 1 of refinement which costs 50 ores... I maxed the other 3 already.

Since almost everyone is whining about how hard the game is, ill show you my guide to the Drone Wars survival badge: 1st round: 1 cruiser. 2nd round: damage upgrade. 3rd round: 1 cruiser. 4th round: 1 control and 1 repair drone, repair if needed. 5th round: 1 cruiser. 6th round: damage upgrade. 7th round: damage upgrade. All the rest of the round should be spent on cruisers (and control if needed) and max damage and plating. You should easily beat wave 30 with 7 or more cruisers.
