A have a bug which cause game freeze, after i used lift. Two times in row happened for now. I did upgraded my mech for trashing less value materials for higher ones, was mining green jewel (i dont remember the name) i got 2 mech upgrades on the way, went to far edge of left corner, then was going back on the lift, pressing "E" and game froze, did the same exact actions happened again. mb it will help u to find a bug. TY

No, it's not powerful; it doesn't allow you to do anything that you couldn't do manually. Having the player lose instead of allowing him to refuel is just artificial difficulty.

holy amazeballs this game is good.
one suggestion i have is having the ground layers slowly ease into the next one via mixing the two layers.
i don't know if it's an intentional design choice but i also have some criticism of the permafrost/ice layer being right after average everyday ground.
seems kind of jarring to me, but i'm not the game dev behind this amazing game, hats off to ya.
Unfortunately, the game's saving system is too complex to make it work on a browser. I have been looking for a solution, but haven't found anything yet. The only thing I can do for now is to recommend playing the demo on Steam

Oof running out of fuel while you have spare fuel cans still kills you. Should be an auto-use item or at least give you the chance to use it when it runs out :/
In the full game, there actually will be such an item. However, it is unlocked around mid-late game since it is really powerful. By the way, canisters only replenish 500L of fuel, so if you install any tank upgrade, you can use them once you have about 1/3 of your fuel remaining and still fully exploit their potential)

I already love what I see, but I feel that just restricting parts to have certain stats and not some special gimmicks (and appearance) creates some limits, in actually choosing things - you might end up with a meta, in terms of building your mech, that players will inevitably fall to.
One of my suggestions, so far, is to make it so you *can* jump with legs (and get a "running start" to your vertical ascent), as to better justify the reduced weight capacity compared to the Treads.
The legs amortize falling better, so you can fall from a higher altitude without taking any damage. But I will consider adding some additional features, thanks for the suggestion!

After 3 landslides underground it teleported me to the surface. I wonder if that was an intentional fix. Lost my infinite fuel too, so I feel like both of these are intentional pseudo-patches or something.
But another issue I encountered is boulders the interior of vaults. Earth shifts was not moving the boulder, and neither type of explosives were working on it.
Both of these are bugs, thanks for your report! I have been trying to track down the bug related to an earthquake for several days now. I still cannot reproduce it on my end, but I will continue trying to fix it sooner or later.

I have encountered an annoying phenomena at least twice where I get stuck due to a land shift that occurs while I'm underground. I don't know if it's a bug with earthquakes not occurring beforehand or what. Everything seems normal but suddenly there is rumbling and the land slide (which can also cause teleportation).
It also gave me infinite fuel for some reason, not sure why. So if it was possible to drill up it wouldn't have been a problem aside from having infinite fuel.
This is totally unintended behaviour - at the end of an earthquake your mech should either have been destroyed or teleported to the surface (depending on a difficulty). As I mentioned in the other comment, I am trying my best to fix it.

IDK if I've ever seen such a blatant rip-off of a game before, but still it is well done and with more content which is great. Although there is some polish that could still be done (right now it's too easy to accidentally mine spots)
I think more uniqueness in parts for the miner would be good too (maybe like Dredge or Armored Core) rather than a very linear path of predictably-linear increases.
And regarding the uniqueness of the parts - this is achieved through special upgrades that are found on the map. In the demo, there is only 1 such upgrade available, but there will be many more in the full game (such as the ability to produce fuel when the mech's temperature is high).

I feel like I have been looking for this game for 20 years. Like someone said, feels like Motherload, which shopuld be the highest honor!

Unfortunately, at the moment I see no way to add a saving feature to the web version. The save system for the game is quite complex, as it needs to be able to save the entire map and lots of other things. I am thinking on a solution, but I can't promise anything.

When you are in a building, you should be able to hit escape to exit. It would also be nice to have more keyboard shortcuts for the options in the buildings. The less switching between keyboard and mouse, the better, and it's mostly a keyboard game. The not being able to drill upwards thing is a little annoying, and I don't see a purpose to it, other than to make life a little more challenging. I would also like a way to lift off in a shaft to where there is a deposit and begin drilling horizontally while in flight. If there's currently a way to do that, I didn't discover it. Maybe it could be an upgrade -- as could the ability to drill upward? And this other game that everyone is talking about? Are they all just mis-spelling Motherlode or Mother Lode, or is there really a game called Motherload? Is it still playable anywhere?
Actually, you can quit buildings by pressing Q. Esc is reserved by the browser to exit cinematic mode. Also, you can navigate through building menus using WASD or the Arrow keys and hit the Spacebar or Left Shift to use the most common options, so you don't really need a mouse. As for drilling - it's a little challenge you need to overcome)
Hello! I was not able to reproduce the bug with the elevator on my end. Can you please tell me what you were doing before entering the elevator?
And about music. Yes, I know about the issue, but there's nothing I can do about it. All I can recommend is to click anywhere outside the game window. This will freeze the game and stop the lagging music from disturbing you.
This is just a demo. There will be 7 more locations in the full game. Each one will have its own unique mechanics and features, such as cold environment or some gravity shenanigans. So, there will be much more in the full version of the game)

There's a bug where the shop screen goes behind the hotkeys at top, so you can't exit with the X button. Use your arrow keys to move your selection to the X at top right and enter when this happens.

In the tutorial, neither L.Shift nor the on-screen button go back a page after the introduction of Prometheus (though it does work later-- it seems maybe it doesn't go back further than the introduction of a new speaker).

The intro text speed isn't bad, but I wish that there were the option to click to instantly complete a page, rather than wait until it types out or skip that page entirely.
But there is such option. You need to press Right arrow or Spacebar while the text is being typed. If you want to gp back to the previous page, you can press Left arrow
