to anybody trying to get the first interaction, stand on the LEFT side of the fire and press E. Standing right in front of the npc doesn't work.

Janky controls, tried pressing e for dialogue in multiple scenes, followed the developer's note of moving around first, took a few minutes to clear the first scene, now stuck at the child. Would have been better to make the controls press E or hover over the character and click for dialogue. This game will take absurdly long for a badge because of the control issues. If you have the same issues but don't want to wait so long for talking scenes, I suggest you skip this for BOTD game.

I never leave comments but I have to for this game. This was an incredible, short, and sweet story that had me worried it would end on a sad note but I'm glad it had a happy ending. Good job!

The best thing that happened to me was almost losing the final fight. I had basically one hit left and I literally felt like i was fighting for our lives. Loved it

i'll get dv'd i'm sure but the game is intuitive enough. i hate the extremely dim lighting; it's hard on my eyes, i already have 5.25 Rx in both lenses. also hate when the dialog boxes with useless drivel ~that can't be skipped/disabled~ get in the way. oh and then the pixel perfect boxes to activate when the "E" appears so much sooner.

Come on I thought the storyline was longer so I killed Meredith thinking that she would betray or get revived. Characters are written very well and the gameplay is real fun. But I had to retry it to beat Meredith because it is almot impossible to dodge every single incoming flameshot so I think it can be a little bit easier. I would give a solid 5* if the game was a bit longer and there were more fights.

Just like the previous game, this game is a great, short experience that is worth playing through. I'm less a fan of the addition of combat sections, but they're not so bad or frequent as to significantly dampen the experience.

I genuinely don't see how this game got a 4.1 rating. This entire series could have been combined into a single game, maybe got more attention, add some interesting mechanics.

The 'E' does not work for me. I refreshed and finished the first scene, went to scene with child in road, and 'E' again does not work

I love these story/animation kind of things. The first one was kinda boring, just going back and forth. Hope you do more of these story games! A suggestion: Maybe have dialogue affect what you actually do, like maybe killing Meradith forces you to quit your job or something

I started this going, "Wait, this feels kinda familiar, like I poked it before." Then I reached the reason behind the badge, and the dialogue for that, and was like, "Wait, no, I played 'Home', that's why it was familiar..." (And I played that back in November when it was BotD)

It really is a shame that there are only 30 games that are cycled through now for BOTD. I know they cannot do flash games any longer, but it is still disappointing.

Uh oh. I named myself Edward based on my immediate thought of Edward Elric and now I realised I'm the girl.
Still, it's a lovely game again! And even with more gameplay. Lovely job! I really like the storytelling too. It's simple and yet captivating. Aw man. Better job than many MMORPGs with "fetch 10 X" and "kill Y 30 times".
