This game was really good, the art style was simplistic yet effective, the music was nice and relaxing and somehow I felt attached to the characters even though I only knew them for like 10 minutes. I really enjoyed this, great job.

Even better than the first one. I was actually concerned that Jinora wouldn't make it. And I got a little teary eyed at the end. Beautiful story. I hope you continue making games like this - I'll play every one.

Lah dee dah. Oh look talking. Hm. Fun. This reminds me of that other talking game from that one time... hmm... (fetch quests) (fireballs) Aww, look at all the- wait. "Welcome Home" YOU SON OF A- IT WAS THAT GAME!

This game made me all warm and fuzzy inside. The melodious music made it all the more better. I absolutely loved the fact that the dev kept all the characters from the previous game alive. It creates a joy which is not explainable. 5/5

Man, this is beautiful. I played the old one, and the ending to this gave me serious nostalgia. The way I'm seeing it, each game seems to cover the next generation. The character in this game was the one rescued in the previous game. I could easily see Meredith being the adventurer in the next game.

This second game is even better than the first one! pity i can't rate with more than 5 stars! Thanks for creating this weird mix of adventure and relaxing games! :)

The story seems completely railroaded... the ending doesn't seem to change at all regardless of what choices u make :(

So I came here for the badge, and thought "wow, this is a lot like that other game I played based on an adventurer returning home, and a demon infection, and the warmth of the fire". Then I got to the end conversation and I almost cried because I REMEMBER these characters, and I LOVE them and I really felt like I'd come home <3

It is really sad because of AUDIO API Error I can not hear anything and play this masterpiece jerky motion (i.e. un-play-able).
Nice concept and good, heartwarming story. Thanks for good game.

I don't often give a game higher than a 3-star rating, but this was just such an awesome sequel with such an awesome storyline that even with how short and how little is in it, I gave it a 5-star rating. There's huge potential for a third, but even if you don't, I'm sure whatever your next project is will be just as great.

OH MY GOD I just realized that the character is the little girl from Home.
Oh and this is a great game, I love the characters and everything.

I'm not sure why, but the game is completely unplayable for me due to lag. I enjoyed Home and I want to play this too, but I can't seem to get past the first "gather herbs" level, even after closing all tabs, restarting my browser and rebooting my computer. All other games on Kongregate seem to be working fine. I won't rate it until I can play it, but is there anything I can to do improve the performance?

these games are cute, but it literally doesn't matter what you do. maybe at least *some* storyline branching based on my decisions?

Well done Reius; Enjoyable atmosphere, engaging characters, hell, I loved the first portion of this game and this one had the exact same quality as the first (and yes, I even started clapping like a div when he said "...who's not a smith, might I add" ["I KNEW IT!]".
Keep up the good work, my friend, and I look forward to your work in the future ^_^"

So few games of this size leaves you walking away with a smile. The story was great, just like the first one, but I didn't really like the combat instances. They were just so simple. But, this game, like the first, is more story involved than anything. So it doesn't affect my opinion on the game as a whole too strongly, and still warrants a 5 :)

omg the controls are not great for mac laptops. the space/j/k configuration is so awkward while keeping your hand from hitting the trackpad. Barely playable in some of the action parts. Also sometimes when it tells me I have to press 'E', it doesn't work until I jump first and then press 'E'.

I saw a new badge and started playing the game. Immediately the sound made me remember the first game. It's very good. I really liked it.

Love how you made a simple game of choices but yet you built a great story behind, and when i realized it was the daughter of the Smith i directly gave 5 stars and added to favorites... Amazing, very emotional game =)

Named my character Marcus, and only at the end of the game did I realize the character is a girl. Good job at making me feel like a dumbass.

Well, I didn't immediately realize the MC was a girl, so I gave her the name Nathaniel since it can slightly be used for both genders, but now I wish I had a better girl name for her. Like Angel.
