in a word, excellent. I've probably played every possible version, spinoff and modifications of a TD ( including Warcraft-based ones), but this is definitely one of the best. The sounds fit well with the atmosphere and mood of the game, it has decent graphics, the time between waves is optimal, the towers and enemies themselves are balanced, I like the descriptions you have for each level, and the enemies and towers are well-balanced.
But it won't be at the best until you include the bosses (every 5 waves or so), fix all of the bugs that have been reported (duh), you add an in-game speed modifier (2x, 3x, etc.), and stop showering us with so much gold after every wave. Also think about either a sequel involving the undead against the night elves, or a prequel about how the orcs won all the battles that got us this far ( wit us as the orcs, of course).

Wow, some of the comments for this are just petty. I'm looking forward to the final edition. This is rather good, though theres lots of bad glitchs, its better than most of the other "betas" I end up playing on here. Really, if you cannot accept the game is a call back to the original tower defenses, then your a whiny whore.

Guys there is a newer version uploaded. I'm not sure if it addresses all the issues you've encountered but try it:

Nice job. Some things that I noticed:
You can upgrade range over and over. Eventually it stops charging you 50 bucks, but the range keeps increasing.
The 3 abilities did not seem to have a big impact. Also the towers strength goes up too drastically in the beginning. I hope that helps

Cry me a river kid. I deliberately put precautions in place so douches like you couldn't skew kong's high scores and other data. :)

If you have upgrade arrow towers lvl 6 with poison and fire/burn.. you can pretty much wipe anything out.. If you then use Fire/Poison/Ice Towers, nothing can get past you.. Takes no effort. Just watch the creeps die over and over again.

Great game but the workshop doesnt show the stats increasing... My first two didnt show at all, but then they showed after the second increase and then they stopped increasing at 2 and 3

Thanks fafdsfr, I've fixed that bug but I can't upload yet cause I'm working on a bit of a surprise.
Kirin - I'll check it out.

Invisible enemies not shown up in an upgraded range scout tower's range.
Other than that and the other bugs, great game.

Pretty good game. The graphics could do with some livening up but that's just my opinion. I prefer brighter, cheerier graphics like mushroom revolution.
A few things I think could do with a tweak: Make it so you can see the cost to upgrade a tower when you can't afford it, and make it so you can stil see the tower details (damage etc) when it is upgrading.
And just for personal preference, I want to play as the horde :D

Updates to previous comment: The selection thing applies to both labs and workshops. The upgrades not counting when the workshop not selected but might be cosmetic, if you have that then do another upgrade and keep the workshop selected, it updates to the proper values including the previous bugged upgrade.

Wow, I don't envy you when you go to balance the workshop, that thing is fun! :D Got a few bugs, however. First, if you have a tower that's currently upgrading selected, and you click the workshop, they end up both selected. Second, if the workshop isn't selected when the research finishes, it doesn't count (or at least doesn't display on the status panel when you do select it again).
