Under rating threshold (show) I enjoy love risk but this is one sorry excuse of a copy. I give it a 2.5. Kongregate try to make your games a little bit better.

Under rating threshold (show) The randomizer in this is really lousy. But, I still enjoy the aspects of this similar to risk. 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) Performance is absolutely terrible. I've never seen a game on kongregate run as slowly as this.

Under rating threshold (show) BloodElff: maybe you're not playing smartly enough? You can use a quite basic strategy and cut through the enemies quite well.

Under rating threshold (show) The streaks really suck. If you can find a way to put the random dice aspect out of the game, then it will be good.

Under rating threshold (show) Big improvement over the first version. The long streaks of loosing 20 men while the enemy loses zero haven't happened once to me. I've seen some streaks, but not as often and not nearly as bad.

Under rating threshold (show) when the original risk has a little bit of strategy because of objectives, regions and reinforcements, this game is merely a massing units game on regions. the only strategy is to find the right regions to occupy and in what order, but this was the clue of Risk. A spark of strategy needed on level 6. Game too slowly. annoying unit number modification bubbles.

Under rating threshold (show) Really need to work on the dice rolls. Maybe allow attackers to allow two or more. It's so similar to Risk that it seems utterly terrible by comparison. I usually wouldn't be so harsh, but I guess that's a risk you take as a game developer.

Under rating threshold (show) The randomness of battle so far outweighs strategy that planning your moves is largely irrelevant. As a result, it's not so much a strategy game as it is a game of pure luck.

Under rating threshold (show) Straight-forward Risk clone. If you dial the speed up to Light Speed, it plays reasonably fast. I didn't notice any major problems with the randomizer. As long as you play strategically and don't over-extend yourself (straightforward military stuff), you'll win every round. If anything, the AI needs to be made a little bit smarter. Not bad overall. 4/5.

Under rating threshold (show) I would change the description in the tutorial a 1:2 odd is painfully bad for winning in most of the cases. Anyway to Nurchij: if you have a sollid possition on the map and a bit luck, then you can win the game after all. I was having 2 units around Mexico, and had the luck that the CPUs couldn't win beat eachother, so I did instead of them ;) + I think the game was fast enough, after I turned the cpu spead on light speed in the option. + the gameplay needed a bit getting used to, always jumping with the mouse up and down to attack and move... All in all a good game, for 1-2 plays

Under rating threshold (show) This game still stinks. I can't figure out why I like RISK so much better. The gameplay is too random. Even with RISK it feels like I can set up a strat from the begining and work and adapt. If the strat I start with fails in this game I can't adapt. I just lose. Which makes this a bad game to me.

Under rating threshold (show) I think the game has a lot of potential, the random rolls do feel pretty stacked. I would could that up to just me having bad luck but it appears that I'm not the only one having these problems. I think that's the biggest problem I have with it currently.

Under rating threshold (show) seems rather unbalanced. I lost the game before I could do any more than place a single piece. More importantly, the game only runs about 1/3 as fast as it used to, and is really quite aggrivating.

Under rating threshold (show) The odds are working out better in this version than the last one. I think the changes in how the dice are thrown has improved the game play considerably.

Under rating threshold (show) Understanding Games pt 1. "The outcome of a game has to be uncertain, otherwise it loses its appeal." The outcome of a match is pretty much rounded up in the first few rounds, but the aftermath can be long and painfull. Usually not even a streak of luck is going to change the outcome. (and if it would be, this game would be a lottery, not a strategy game) Also a note, this game is not risk. Risk is a table top game were you try to complete a (random)goal, to reach this goal you work with or against other people, convince em that they chances to succes is better if they side with you, or attack another person than you because you are so small and harmless. So actually, exept the rules, this game don't have much in common with risk.
