There are a lot of confusing elements here. Acid/Affliction don't stack according to author comments, but there is really no way to know that in game without VERY careful testing. I also wonder about the damage on split and splash, does split reduce the bullet damage if they hit before they split? Does splash reduce direct hit bullet damage, or is the splash damage itself 100% extra? Can Laser ever hit the same target multiple times, with or without homing?

How to get perfect on 24 the very first time: Speed Hull 5, All Plasma Weapons, Splash Mods on all top, Split Mod on two outside, Poison and Affliction on inside, Two Defensive Lazers for ship mod.
Strategy: Go on the offensive, destroy enemies before they have a chance to shoot you.

How is it that fully upgraded flak cannons are such garbage compared to homing splitting lasers? What a waste of money...

@dreadlindyrm try this:
-fully upgraded antimatter bomb
-a max level 4 laser hull (for very large focus to go inbetween lasers)
-and 4 max pullet turrets all the weapon mods you can have atm, shield the do the following:
keep using your focus to not get hit (remember, your hitbox is the yellow pixel i belive) then wait untill he is very small and the damage he takes is the bar with his name. then when he uses very bullet-hevey attacks, use an antimatter right where he is, and he will take good damage and won't be able to attack then when you're all out of them, dodge his attacks till you win

I can't beat boss 4. I just can't manage to maneuveur through the bullet patterns. I also can't get any more damage, hitpoints or regen. I think I'm done with this one.

Atropos is far too strong and overpowered; this is a clear imbalance compared with previous levels; I tried to follow some tips here and use different stuff, but nothing...I just can't beat it.

Love this game, it's brilliant. Start muted, balanced weapons that encourage varied builds, bosses that don't simply fall over, the boss run and survival modes...
Only minor complaints are that I'd like the individual weapons to each have their own sound effects (though it'd probably sound like shit when you have a varied loadout) and that the individual weapon-kill achv. have such high quota's that they require significant farming to earn.

Graphics are lame and fake-retro, only one of the three songs actually has anything worth listening to, the ship hull upgrades are WEAK at best, and it's boring after the first boss fight. Hyperion was somehow the easiest, how does that even work?

please please PLEASE give full info on the weapons, it is always a godsend, is almost always necessary, and is never ever given, only one I haven't been able to test effectively is the flak gun...no idea what's going on with those couds

@Taurog: No, it isn't. Beat Tartarus, the Boss Run Boss after Atropos2.0, and you get it to 120%, giving you infinite focus.

why will this one flash game not ever save my games?! i went in and looked at flash's data folder in appdata and there was a save for reactance but it still doesnt load in the game so i thought there might be corrupt data so i erased the reactance data in the flash app data folder and it still doesnt work

The one only thing that could make this games even better is power ups, ones you can buy ad keep, (cool down time), ones you buy but is one-time only, or some that drop from enemies. The only thing. Great job!
