The hard part of the survival badge is unlocking survival mode. Got it first try easily. Beating Atropos? That took ten tries.
Tips for Atropos btw. Use all bullets, all with splits, two with homing, one with acid, and one with weaken. Use the HP body and damage reduction (shield) ship mod. Use the leech bomb mod. Focus on dodging/living, use bombs when you're low on hp.

Moving just a hair left or right and grazing the entire stream of bullets the enemies in Level 12 shoot at you is so satisfying.

Tips for Tartarus: Use the hull that is rewarded for beating Atropos 2.0 in Boss Rush. Best of all worlds and the Megalaser is excellent. Try to save your bombs. Do NOT focus on hitting him, the Megalaser does that well enough. It's not over until it's really over, keep your eyes sharp. Equip the Warp Core. No spoilers but the reward is far too worth it. And importantly, Autobomb will be your saving grace if you can get to him with it. ...and when he starts "weaving" that spin pattern, switching holes is not recommended.

This game needs an autosave.. I accidentally clicked off of the game (onto another) and when I came back to the game all of my progress was gone. Hours lost, and I was going for the top spot on one of the leaderboards...

I don't think I've ever seen a sequel double down on the major flaw of of its predecessor as hard as this one did. The final boss is far worse than the predecessor's already pretty shakey final boss. Focus really, really sucks unless you are in the stupid glass cannon ship that causes you to die in about 2 hits, and it's hardly possible to dodge most attacks unless you are in Focus. Really, all of the bosses could use a major health cut.

i recommend pause buffering, just spam the pause button, lets you breathe for a moment in the the middle of hectic bosses

best setup for me to kill atropos: red ship (max tier), antimatter bomb, 2 defense laser (1 if you want with warp core), 3 plasma cannons with double split and 1 plasma with single split and affliction

I feel there should have been an impossible badge if you complete the boss run/charge your warp core to 120%. Seems like a worthy achievement to me.

not bad, would prefer to be able to preempt the attacks a boss is going to use easier. returning to this after playing LoLK, I realized just how easy this is in comparison, but it does get frustrating when a boss looks like it is about to use one attack, then does a different one.

Atropos is no joke, making Hyperion like nothing ... Took me like 10 tries with video guide to beat this boss... Atropos 2.0... oh shit >.

I don't like games that you can max upgrades easilly... its a sign the game was designed to waste your time grinding for upgrade but balanced with needing max upgrades in mind...

Best final loadout for me (opinion) is 4x lasers with split and homing wep modifiers. Shield and Defensive Laser for ship modifier.

In my opinion, Armor Hull has advantages over focus and speed hull, especially against bosses and later levels. Speed Hull is the least useful of the 3 in my opinion.

Wish there was an achievement for killing every enemy on a level (I know this would be automatically earned for bosses) kind of like the no bomb, no damage achievements. Maybe it can't be done on higher levels because of the number of enemies?; I'm only on level 16.

With the 15 boss, even constant slow mo, I still can't avoid hitting bullets sometimes. I mean literally no path to avoid bullets sometimes.

like the game but the new released weapons over all are less effective then tier 2. Tier 4 weapons seems pretty useless.
