Under rating threshold (show) Suggestion: As for the "satisfaction of Tower-Defense-Games", why not add 2 Waves at the end of every level, which are considerably easier than the previous ones, so the player can kick back and just enjoy the show? Rather cheap solution, but it would work ^^". Other than that, speed button, Trey could react a bit quicker after he managed to kill something and he needs attack-preferences as the towers. Anyway, great game! =D

Under rating threshold (show) In response to what Robin said, I prefer it this way, but perhaps a realtime/turnbased toggle ala X-com apoc which separates modes? That'd be pretty swell. The tiles would be moved faster and easier imo if you used a mouse/keyboard combo than just mouse. Sometimes I miss and it clicks and drags the next row over due to the lagtime of click-to-movement (I go pretty fast on the tile matching part. It starts moving the other way if you go diagonal too fast.) I think you should have a harder mode as well, maybe 'extreme' which uses the old pace with maybe a couple unique monster types, but gives you bonuses for getting 6+ matches, two way matches, that sort of thing (like other tile matching games do). Essentially you have one half game and one whole game, but I think you can make two full games going on at once with a little more effort, and it will feel and flow much better for it.

Under rating threshold (show) very easy easy badge trick - in the first level just dont build a tower till after you have gotten 10 levels worth of stars also a good way to get the stock up suplies achivements and the build tower ones.

Under rating threshold (show) You should enable a double click feature to equip. Also select a tower and double click the gem you want on it. Id give this a 4/5 I enjoyed the part where you had to get your resources and the old style graphics :P

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game with a good combo of tower defense and puzzles. Still think it's funny though that this hard badge takes about 2 hours, whereas the hard badge for Gemcraft Chapter Zero takes about 200 hours..

Under rating threshold (show) great game!! Ive spent hours playing this. Its a RPG / Puzzle / Tower Def. All 3 of my favorite games rolled up into one. Would love to see a sequel to this with maybe multiple characters running around. Just some expansion on the RPG aspect of the game play would make it even better. +5 and Great music

Under rating threshold (show) I really enjoy this game ^^ I love RPG elements, and being able to level up and bring my hero along each stage with those increase stats and equipment makes me happy and urges me to keep playing older stages. Having a high level hero really helps in those harder stages but it's not so much that it detracts from the actual Tower game. The hero at most will delay the waves give more time for the strategizing, and the pause button certainly helps with the equipping of gems, towers and armours. I really enjoyed this game, and may be playing it for the next few hours or so. (Sometimes I forget about my towers ><" it's nice that when an enemy hits the castle there's a loud noise to remind me)

Under rating threshold (show) Some suggestion I feel would improve the game: A sound+music on/of switch accessible in game. Some way to control the hero, either by giving him a "patrol" area he stays inside, or something like the towers, highest hp, first, last, ect. Especially in survival mode, I keep wishing I had some way to go back to previous gathering areas, to find more iron or wood, so allowing you to click and return to areas you've already unlocked would be nice. I'm also not 100% clear on whether orb effects can stack, and how they do, it would be nice if that were explained somewhere, in addition to the stats. ex: two strike orbs grant 100% chance for +50%, two 50% chances they can occur together and stack, or if strike/flame orbs affect poison orbs.

Under rating threshold (show) The meeting of several different genres is tricky terrain to traverse, but combining TDs and RPGs seems to work nicely if done correctly. This is a wonderful example of that. That, along with the arcade element, makes me wonder if this game started as 3 separate games, then combined into one (perhaps, but I may be wrong). Anyways, it's a wonderful game. I've always enjoyed Defense games and RPGs, and this is a pretty good combination of the two. The only negative thing that I found personally was the lack of satisfaction of defeating the monsters. Aside from experience for the Prince and being that much closer to successfully finishing the level, I didn't feel like there was much reward for it. Anyways, great job.

Under rating threshold (show) Okay, I got stuck while trying to apply the gems to a tower. I tried dragging the gems directly on top of a tower, but it didn't work. The mouse-over tooltip said "shift+click to drop", so (after my previous failed attempts) I thought that MAYBE that would mean "drop onto the tower". And now I have no gems, and I can't complete the tutorial. (and I've just noticed the middle-bottom section of the screen) TL;DR: I failed to complete the tutorial. (I guess I deserve a badge for that!)

Under rating threshold (show) 5/5. Two requests however: 1) Persistent upgrades for completing achievements, and make the game slightly more difficult so that getting those upgrades is useful towards game completion. 2) At present, the prince's gear gets permanently downgraded when revisiting previous levels. Get steel/adamanant/etc gear on one level, then go back to get hard an level one, and POOF all that gear is now wooden. If gear needs to be temporarily downgraded to the best possible for that level, ok...but please restore the original state when going back to later levels. Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand the second part. If I get higher level equipment and go back to early chapters I keep all my gear. The only time it resets is during endless mode, because you start from scratch each time (and when I return to story I still have my gear). Is that not how it functions for you?

Under rating threshold (show) Definitely liked the multitasking phase, but honestly, I never felt that I ran out of any type of resource. I just set up my towers in a way that makes sense (used the multi-towers for their effects, one long range tower, and a swift tower to kill anything near my base), and just went crazy on getting resources. Before too long, I had a crapton of gems, a decked out warrior, and definitely enough towers. Great game. Definitely a 5/5 for me.

However, I was so busy with getting resources (at random) that I didn't even have time to look at my awesome towers to see if they were actually destroying all the monsters. I still don't know what some of the matching thingys do so it would be nice if there was some clarification.

Under rating threshold (show) Unless I'm mistaken, there's a bug for weapons with vitality on them. Equipping them does not seem to change my health at all. Any other equipment, it seems to work just fine, but for weapons, nothing.

Under rating threshold (show) Each resource location (Forest, Cave, etc.) should have its own separate grid, unaffected by the other grids. Each resource location should only yield one type of resource. As matches are made, the number of matchable tiles decreases, but slowly replenishes over time. Let the player manually switch between locations, instead of letting it happen automatically after a set period of time.

Under rating threshold (show) For the badge, In the first map when it says "Get 5 wood and build a tower" don't build a tower but keep matching red stars untill he levels up. yes it's a bit tedious work.
