I think this game could have been improved by theft, namely Picma's What-If mechanic. I was really missing it in the later puzzels.
Yeah, the bigger the grid, the more complicated it gets... All puzzles are manageable through logic steps, but there´s nothing wrong with guessing either ;)

i'm glad you chose nice music, but after playing for so long i wonder if i'll ever stop hearing it. it was definitely the background music in my dreams last night...

Gutted that I completed it! I need more! Love the whole concept of solving the puzzles and building up a bigger scene!

not sure if it's intended, but you can guess at squares by seeing if the numbers turn white or not but X'ing out nearby squares.
hopefully it's just an oversight, because it's too easy otherwise.

Found a bug: the numbers on the side grey out when you have the right combination including surrounding X's. So a little bit try & error sometimes can replace a good thinking (or help finding the critical point in a mostly solved puzzle).

I feel like the puzzles finally reached the size where I consider them interesting, and then it's done... Would have appreciated harder levels.
Thanks for your comment! We wanted to keep the first part of "NoNo Sparks" enjoyable for novice players, but there are definitely more parts, possibly with harder puzzles, coming.

Adam 2.8 made me laugh... fun game, would've liked to redo some of the levels though. All in all a solid [5/5] from me.

I like the idea of a toggle switch, but the option to click on an empty space twice to get an 'X' to appear would also be good idea.

Definitely a fun game and I'm looking forward to seeing what else comes from BeardshakerGames. Would you guys say some of your inspiration for this game came from the DS game Picross?

I don't think all levels can be finished by logic alone. The Adam level I got firmly stuck with no logical progression to be made and had to use a guess to move things forwards.
Our nonograms are tested to not contain steps that have to be guessed. In the bigger levels however, it´s hard to keep track of the next logical step - I use the X tool a lot to help me along with that.

Man, someone doesn't think too highly of women. As a matter of fact they appear to be created by the devil himself in this particular universe...

There is a bug that breaks the game's rules.
Once you have a situation, for example -> O ? X ? O
(X being the block and ? being possible spot for other block from 2 in a row)
you can test it by going OXXOO or OOXXO. The number below will flash when its correct.
+ it so dev can see it

I really like this except imo being able to solve from the greyed out numbers kind of ruins the game. Instead of being about logically solving from the clues given it can just become trial and error trying to see what will make the numbers grey out. If that was different and if the space bar command was toggle instead of hold I would give 5/5 but as is I still give 4/5

I don't know if it's smater to master the "sudoku" style concept behind this game, or finding the trick about positioning blocks-cross and wait for a gray number.
Anyway i've done both. 5/5 star

the numbers don't grey out unless you have the blocks in the correct positions. don't know if u meant for that to happen but it allows for someone to just go down a row filling and switching till they find the correct spot

Nice way of including japanise riddles (pictures? puzzles? whatever they are called in english) in a game.
Few points I find annoying:
If I click on a block with "x" I want there "x" instead of blank (and vice versa);
Numbers should became grey just to indicate blocks placed according the rules of the line (not stay black in case the blocks are not in the right place - thats take all the fun out of actual solving)

luv this game just add a way to get to the menu and make it easier to grasp, it took me like 10 mins to finish earth cause i kept screwing it up and then after reading the rule book i understood how to complete puzzles and zoomed right thru the starting ones, oh and make the rule book avalible at level 1, it was really confusing what to do w/o it
Thanks, for your feedback. Nice to hear, that you like our game. :)
In our first version the book was available from the very beginning and we received a lot of feedback, that there were too many rules ot once. So we splitted them apart as a "step-by-step"-tutorial. The overall feedback was that the game is better to understand this way.
But I see your point and I totally agree. We should use both at the same time: a step-by-step tutorial and having the complete rulebook. So everyone can decide which way of explanation fits better.
We will keep that in mind for the sequel. Thanks! :)

It would be nice if you could go select a whole line for X and it would just fill the empty ones WITHOUT undoing the squares you already marked. Just to make things a little less tiring on big puzzles.
Actually this is possible, when the first field (where you start the drag) is empty.
We've tried a lot of variations for using the "drag&select" feature and at the end we found that - as a general rule - it should work like this:
"Press and hold a square to start the drag. The action that would be applied to this square, will be applied to elements of the drag selection."
Some examples on that:
1) The selection tool is set to "block": when click&hold on a square that contains a block, the block will be removed. Dragging the selection to any directions, will also empty all squares (no mattter if they contain blocks or X)
2) The selection tool is set to "block": when click&hold on a square that contains is empty (no X), the block will be set. Dragging the selection to any directions, will also set blocks in all squares (no mattter if they contain blocks or X or are empty)
The same behavior works for the Mark/X tool.

Wonderful game. I did not think I would like it at first, but it grows on you then gets addictive. Would like to see more games like this.
