GREAT GAME!!! But real easy got all but 5 of the in game achievements and all of kongregates achievements in one go. Needs a sequil where the sea gets bigger and you have to work to get up grades. maybe even different stages.

I played one time, and it was absolutely tedious at the beginning, OK during the middle, and then it got incredibly boring towards the end. Luckily, it was easy from start to finish, and I got every achievement, so I don't have a single reason to play this game again. 2/5

Would be a lot more fun if a huge whale couldnt get destroyed by a single ship in 1 second. Also if the ocean supplied enough food to keep from starving. As it is now, its fun for 5 minutes and then sucks. Too bad too because it has the potential to be pretty fun.

would be nice if we could have some way of knowing whats above us (its really annoying when you go up to kill a boat and find out its a pirate ship)

yeah, I'm not going to spend another hour working on half a million. cute for 10 minutes, but it's just repetitive after that

"Hey, guys, I'm going out to Starbuck's for a bite." (I thought it was funny, anyway. The coffee chain was named for Starbuck, Captain Ahab's first mate.)

Jesus christ, what happened to the time when games were PLAYABLE? It's nigh impossible to sink the bigger boats, you die so goddamn easily, and anyone who said that it's easy is lying, or hacking.

Ugh the game wont even load for me, when i press play it gets stuck at the not doppler sponsor screen (it doesn't even show 'not doppler' its just a green screen)

@sarah_k - It's physically impossible for a *baleen* whale to swallow a human, yes. But this is clearly a toothed whale. Moby Dick was a sperm whale, actually, a toothed whale capable of growing up to 60 feet (18m) in length. Even if it couldn't swallow a human whole, it could easily take a sizable bite out of one. And Moby Dick was based on the historical case of the whaling ship Essex, a large whaling ship which sank when a sperm whale, maddened by having been hunted by whalers, decided to turn the tables and attack. In any case, it's also physically impossible for a whale to grow that fast from eating a few fish, for a whale to regain health from mysteriously appearing undersea bonus bubbles, to jump anything like that high out of the water, etc. For that matter, it's physically impossible to do many things commonly depicted in video games. Double jumping and shrugging off heavy caliber bullets come to mind. What's your point?

Omg there should be a hard badge like this "Try to get killed" I got all the badges on my first try. And almost all medals, it's an easy game, really.

Frankly I cant see a cannonball or spear for that matter remaining dangerous after the first 10 to 20 feet underwater and for that matter i cant see a ship like that being able to fire straight downward either. Just pointing that out and ruinin your dreams. : )

An upgrade tree would be incredible, also the ocean needs to get deeper the bigger you get. You already have a mechanism in place that makes it difficult for large whales to stay at the sea floor to avoid damage (the air system and the hunger bar), so you should make it at least possible to stay away from nets and cannon fire for a little bit at least, to regain health.

At 450,000+, pause it to grab my phone, accidentally hit quit instead of resume and it went straight to main menu. Good bye 30 minutes thanks to my automatically clicking the bottom button on the menu to resume and the lack of a quit confirmation.
Please add one so this doesn't happen to anybody else, I'm not going to try again as the first 30 minutes got painfully boring and the 500,000 mark and a being on the phone are the only reasons that kept me playing as long as I did
