It was so good I didn't realize I was learning for a second. THough it really did help with schoolwork that day. Good game!

I now look forward to the gritty sequel where humans and platipi fight for ultimate control of cell generation technology.

"If you give us a ridiculous amount of grant money we'll figure something out." Now that's what I call a realistic game :D

I recommended this game to my biology teacher and he played to level 6! He said we would use the computers to play this game soon :)

After playing this game, I know cells so well that I'll ace my biology exams, become a doctor, and then I'll diagnose patients with things like, "You need to upgrade your membrane" or "Buy some more lysosomes!"

Wow, this game was amazing in terms of difficulty! It made me try different gaming styles to beat each level, and also made me think out of the box. 5/5 stars!

I think cellcraft should have an endless mode! One where the level is endless and you have to build your cell as quickly and efficiently as the viral waves get bigger and stronger, in a struggle to see how long you can live!!!

this game was amazing! it's very educational, everything i completely forgot this summer i'm remembering again so i won't suck in high school this year! and it's a very well done game, every little aspect of it. you had to study a LOT to get this entire game done, and i love this game. 5/5, definitely!

played this awhile a go and when we got on this subject in biology I realized I knew all this stuff already. hmm wonder if I can get extra credit for showing my biology teacher this

this game is quite simply amazing, i have not thought of a better game that is fun, and subliminally makes you the smartest person in biology

definitely good for bio. wish there was a survival mode or a second one where you play as a cell in a larger creature like a white blood cell in a human. or stem cell.

I would REALLY like to see a longer version, or some sort of sandbox.
The whole game is a tutorial/science lesson, but it would be nice to follow it up with more gameplay to use what you've learned.

To beat lvl 8 just get >50 fatty acids and >2500 ATP, and do not buy any poison until you do... And when you do get them - just burst buy 50 clicks worth of poison (1 click = 2 poison) and win.
With ~20 lysosomes and ~30 slicers per wave you should be able to defend yourself easily until you farm the required Glucose to get these amounts of fa and atp.
When you do buy the poison, you might want to use any remaining atp to move around, and evade some of the viruses that will come at you, in order to slow their intake. You should be able to reach 100% and win pretty fast though.

I loved this as a kid. Remember playing it while eating some great tacos. Now I'm finding it as a useful resource for my high school Accelerated Bio class. Time sure flies, huh?

If I was teaching biology I'd definitely assign this game for homework. Excellent educational software! (Used to be a teacher, so I'm not just talking through my hat here.) Only gave it 4/5 stars though, because the music is disruptive to concentration. Also, the game balance is weighted just a little too heavily toward education while being slightly stingy in providing actual gameplay. Still... overall, great game. :)

I honestly learned more from this game than I did from my 9th grade bio class. I didn't even know a golgi body had a trans face!
