The play strikes me as depending more on luck of placement than on skill. For instance, where is the skill in happening to be on the correct side of a game-ending barrier? Also, some placements demand that I step into the jaws of the line monster, which snap shut before I have a chance to back out.

simple and fun...
only problem is the movement... would think it's better if it moves at the speed of your mouse constantly...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You can make a good use of pause here. Since your speed depends of how far the pointer is from you, just pause, move the pointer away and when you unpause it'll move like a rocket (and, I think, if you went over a background tile, you won't have much score drained). Thanks for the game.

The movement was very very very bad.
The "thing" should move at the same speed all the time. No acceleration or velocity depending on distance of mouse. Just a set speed.

It's good, but you need to make it harder. perhaps make a fifth dot and put it on the edge, constantly moving. connect that dot to the two ends and that should be pretty good.

i actually kinda liked this game but it just doesn't seem to go anywhere and the little dot really should be more responsive but like others have said maybe lvls or somthing to make it harder it just seemed to stay the same all the time and then when it started to rotate i thought maybe it was going to get harder but it was just the background rotateing so no real challenge still. but 3/5 for a fun little idea just needs to be further developed

the game was quite boring and i found that by moving fast enough you can go thru (cant spell today) the lines themselves 2/5

I feel like it's a bit harsh to just die when you hit a line. Maybe we can have some lives, you know? Also, why did my first 5 pentagons spawn in the middle of a tile? That sucks for me.
I mean, it's a good game. Good idea...just eh work on the implementation. My biggest thing is that there should be a live system and a level system - start the game easy and make it harder. If there are levels, then that gives players a goal. Also, maybe there should be a "combo timer" that tracks how quickly you need to get a pentagon to increase your combo? This could go down steadily, making it harder to get bigger combos (say, because you have less time to get your 7th pentagon than you do to get your 3rd.)
Anyway, 3/5. Interesting concept and good programming, but I don't think the implementation is quite there yet. v2 should rock though, ;)

NO. No no no. The pentagons should be possible to get, and theres only one really long level. its incredibly dull. Needs more levels, and start with smaller lines, and more pentagons.

I also like the fact that there ARE powerups in the game but theyre usually in the Computer's favor and not to the player :)

I like it, there are always ways to improve a game. I agree that an option for keyboard would be nice, perhaps a way to track the highest combo as well?
Still doesn't detract from the fun 5/5

Nice and simple but, as has been said, it could do with some kind of power ups as you move on. The changing background is just not enough. Nice effort though - 3-4

Interesting concept. I like how the lines move fluidly. If you could change it so when the screen fades dark, your "ship" still glows. I kept loosing where I was. Also, sometimes the pentagons spawned on the wrong side of the screen, or in a place that you couldn't get too.

i like the smoothness... that's very good!
quality and graphics are also good, gameplay ok. just something like powerups, music and more creativeness is missing. great potencial though.

not bad - a bit boring after *coughs* 2 minutes of play. What about powerups etc ? I would also prefer arrowkeys to the mouse ! 2/5

Nice game, but so many problems.
It has alot of slowdowns (at least for me) and the lines seperating the board in several pieces is just annoying.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Certain things just really hinder the enjoyability of the game and that forces me to give it a 3/5. There's nothing that makes it really bad but there's nothing to make it good.

What is this? My score hits zero like crazy because of pentagons on the tiles you told me *not* to go on. And half the time, I can't even get there because the lines are *on top* of it.
