I find it sad that even if I find an alternate solution it isn't considered correct. It would be nice if a victory would still trigger even if it wasn't the "correct" solution. For me this was level 3, number 6

***SPOILER ALERT***
I took me about an hour to figure out that you can easily place the 4 block ship. Other hints: Block out areas around ships including diagonals and look at the preset pieces shapes (a square means at least a 3)

@Menkarlina - That is the equivalent of looking at the answer, and simply filling in the puzzle based on that. Even if this were not possible, one could simply do the puzzle once, then repeat it and fill the answers in immediately. Since the puzzles are not randomly generated, the solutions are static. For this reason, the high scores are worth approximately nothing, and you're effectively robbing yourself of any purpose in playing the game int he first place.

@Menkarlina--it's not really a design flaw to check everything to reveal. It's effectively just cheating at the back of the answers in the booklet--not really a bug.

A little design flaw:
You can quickclick the numbers and fill _all_ the space with water, and then use the check-feature. It shows you exactly the position of all boat tiles, you only have to click each cross once. Done a Lvl-3 in under 20 seconds.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i figured out if you click the number the whole line fills with water right, well fill all lines with water then click check answers, it shows where the ships are so then you sink them and you can complete all levels within at least one minutes. + so poeple can see and cheat on this game, also this works for all the other games by these poeple, + this up please.

@Nervereck: Of course you can do that, but that's cheating. This game isn't about winning, it's about challenging yourself and seeing how fast you can figure it out, not whether or not you can finish it by any means possible. Think of the "Check puzzle" button as a hint button.

It completely destroyed my comment, wtf? I did all lvl1's in under 20s, all lvl2's in under 40s, and all lvl3's in under 60s, all with a trackpad, I thus challenge you!

Just last weekend I started solving puzzles in a Sodoku magazine left on the table, out of boredom. Found some battleship sodoku in it. It's cool to find some on kongregate too.

There is one solution to each. Those who say there are multiple solutions need to check for any extra ships of a certain type.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Thomas08536 There is only one solution to each puzzle. If you think you have an alternate solution, check the ships you have used and all of the numbers. If any of the numbers are off or you have too many/too few of a ship type, it is incorrect.

plz dont read dis.u will get kissed on the nearest friday by the love of your life.2morrow will be da best day of your life.however if u dont post this 2 at least 3 diffrent games you will die this is no joke x x x x xx
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Um, it doesn't handle alternate solutions well. Or at all. It just says they're wrong, and doesn't give a reason why. Please fix.

Nice game but the user interface feels rather clunky. Something like shift-clicking to mark ships would be really helpful, I think. Or a hotkey to change between water, ship and eraser. (Or both!)

Actually, just reading the 'how to play' spelled it out pretty clearly, I thought. Great idea and fun to play, I do wish there were more puzzles (and harder ones) but leaving your audience wanting more isn't necessarily a bad thing XD

i hated how long it took to figre out how too play, but when i got it, i loved the game (can you make it a little less boring?)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I love this game... Thanks a lot for uploading it! :D
I was gonna leave feedback about it being too easy/short, but then I tried level 3... Well it's not exactly hard, but it's nice to have something less easy ^^ 5/5

This is the only kind of number logic game I've ever done where it actually gets easier the bigger the grids are. Still, a good game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you keep dragging until you're off the grid, then let the mousebutton go and go back to the grid, it will still think you're keeping the button pressed. Otherwise great game and I like that thought has been put into the user interface.

I don't think 1 ships are a good idea, it takes out the strategy of "ruling out" squares if there can be one on any square.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's an easy way to cheat, if you figure it out. Took me 29 seconds to do the last puzzle via this method. Sucks out all the fun, though. :/

Realy fun game. Completely different, and I liked the fact that it took me so long to figure it out. However, once you do, the answers start coming quickly.
