are the controls supposed to be that unresponsive? on level 1 I try to jump and the character gets stuck there until it gets killed

@Jordan: None of the music in the impossible game was created by the developers; it was all created by people not even related to the development. Plus, Coolio got permission to use it.

Everone seems to be likeing the Disco Disaster Song(lv 3)... The songs called "Runaway" you can find it in New-Grounds audio portal and download it... 8^)

fixed all the glitches? found one. During the final boss, when i got hit by one of the waves while staying right by the right wall, i got knocked past the wall and fell down through the floor offscreen. Now im falling endlessly down, unable to finish the boss and have to restart the whole thing :(

Boss beat with one life left... It disturbs me how much "Runaway" sounds like Owl City. Either way they did a great job matching the game with the beat of the music.

BADGE GUIDE For level one...it's self explanatory. Always be jumping, even if there's no blocks you see. Falling Blocks, simply stand on the very far RIGHT hand of the screen and no box will hit you. They'll come close but as long as your up against the wall, they can't. Disco Ball: Don't run around and jump. Just stand in one place. When you see the flash of a spike, just run a little ways to avoid it, don't jump, just watch for the lights and move a small distance to avoid it. Final Boss: You can exploit a glitch here. If you jump high enough so that the floor goes below the screen, his waves will vanish and can't hit you. Just jump high above the waves and you won't get hurt. For the lasers he shoots, just stand still, they go over your head. To beat him, wait until he stops all movements. He'll turn like a dark gray color. Jump on his head while he is like this. You have to jump on his head 3 times. Just make sure to hit the top of his head, not his body.

This game is hard. Not in a fair way, the controls are really unresponsive and the jump key stops working constantly. Could also be more intuitive on the boss; red is usually a colour that means "bad, stop, stay away," and so I did...

Movement is super slippery; why does the character have this weird acceleration before he starts running? Jumping is really bad, too.

took four years to beat the boss. Now I can get on with my life...
People, the game isn't as hard as you think, after a few times it's simple

looks like it could be fun, but gotta give 1/5 since the jump button stops working so I can't even beat the first level

Eh, gameplay wasn't fun, wasn't as difficult as you claimed. I'mma rate this as 'music experience' instead of as a game, and in that case, it's a solid 5/5, if a bit short.

once again, brilliant. if you like this game or any of his music, try one of coolio niato's other games such as streamline!

Does the first level keep glitching for anyone else and preventing you from jumping at all? It is making it nearly impossible to play if I can only jump half the time..

"Hello Worlds!" suffers from this same kind of failure-to-register-input-sometimes for jumping as well. Anyway, some tips I hope help: 1st level - This might be obvious, but stay as far right as you can in the first level, but try to time the jump (and hope it registers) so you jump off of a platform when the music gets faster. Better to sail over new platforms than constantly running into them and keep edging to the left. 2nd level - Stay against the right side. The times I've played, there is nearly always a convenient space the perfect width for you. 3rd level - Jumping WILL put you above the spikes' upward range, so when you see the brimming light, move and jump at the same time, to ensure best chance of not getting hit.

So here's a tutorial: Level one: Run to the right and jump over the blocks. - Level two: Avoid the falling blocks by running to the left and the right and (if necessary) jump over the blocks. - Level three: Run around the planet avoiding the beams of light where a spike will come out of. - Boss: Avoid the red waves and red bullets until the boss glows red, then jump on his head (total of three times). + if you find this useful.

The first level is quite annoying at times. The blocks come almost randomly, and sometimes they're too high to jump over, making the level impossible. The moving feels a little 'slippery'. I still can't figure out what to rate this...
