GAHHH i really wanted to keep all the injured soldiers alive! if anyone went below medium i sent him to the back, but it just got too hard! i watched 10 or so men die in the blink of an eye... and the kind just sat and watched...

It seems that all of the secondary quests can be completed with a Soldier rush, excluding the "destroy all enemy buildings" type. Once you've found the enemy fortress, simply restart, build up a large group of Soldiers and blitz their base.

this is not going to be a popular comment, however, this game gets a 1/5. The unit control is shoddy at best, this is a pure clone of warcraft, and it includes all the failings of the original, plus it does not have as many options as warcraft does. Why copy a game if you are not going to fix the issues the older version had?

Not bad, but the ability to group units would be useful. For example, let us be able to select a bunch of units, hit "1" and then we can just hit one to select those units. Otherwise, great game.
That is already implemented ;). Try hitting CTRL + #number to name a group.
Also, if you are used to RTS games, check "Options > Shortcuts" for more actions.

@aemkei I think that most games like this should be considered educational due to the fact that they teach you time/resource management and problem solving. Just like a puzzle game could be considered educational. :/

Great but short-lived. The towers are unfortunately OP, that's how I did the last few levels, the other units weren't really needed. Still 5/5 though.

Needs ability to delete units, mainly for the towers you build. A couple times I wanted to get rid of a tower that was built in the wrong spot, or that the enemy units didn't go by it anymore so it was useless.

You've unlocked something new! Now you can pay to tech up to it, and then buy them instead of massing archers, which will make your army worse. YAY!!

Third 'quest' is bugged. Counted me as complete even though I wasn't even close (I finished on wave 7 when the quest says wave 4)

Wow, I'm completely taken back by how well this game is made for a flash RTS. Reminds me of good old Warcraft 1. Only 4/5 though, because the game gets hugely repetitive. With achievements I might pull off playing it through.

It seems like a fairly decent browser RTS, however there's two things that are bother the HELL out of me. 1) I'm a Starcraft player, so my APM is up there. But I can't micromanage my units very easily when I try to click on a single one, and it doesn't deselect the entire group and select that one. I end up moving my entire selected army around and they just get potshotted. 2) You have to increase acquisition range. I find it a complete bitch to have the orcs attack my units and not my base even though my unit is pretty damn close to it. I find myself making it a chore to have them not attack my base to get the perma upgrades, as opposed to just playing the game.

same here preloader only says "you" and there is a play button but it doesnt work, ive played befor maybe that has sumthin to do with it, gonna delete the cookies and whatnot and see ifn that doesnt fix it.

Maybe (drawing from WC3/Blizzard and other games I have played such as Age of Empires) you could make gold miners or workers to collect additional gold, allies and neutral players that you can trade with, hire mercenaries from, and kill for extra gold. Also, perhaps you could integrate formations with your units so single units don't randomly charge into waves, and maybe overall upgrades such as ones that affect your entire army (inside the levels, not like perma mission bonuses.)

Huge lag on starting screen (altho my computer clearly isnt that crap), still a bit laggy even on lowest quality, and then..
Well, starting a level makes whole main window (right frame, i guess the one with the field?) all blinking around with white/black frames and buttons misplaced in corners blinking too. After a short while, whole plugin container crashes. Oops.

Archery says "unlocked by completing level 4" but is available after completing level 1. The "unlocked after completing level 1" improvement remains locked.

I feel like this is a pretty good game but what id like to see is more of a way to send units far by being able to set out a path, and also grouping units would also help a bunch.Im a bit tired of clicking into the darkness and having to re-group the units just to miss 1-2 or miss attacking a unit on the way and losing the nice range advantage of the archers.Overall i give it a 4/5
I'm not sure if i understand you comment, but you can group units using CTRL + # like in any other RTS. Also, if you want to walk and attack (like Starcraft's "A" button) just hold CTRL and click on the the desired location.
More commands are in the Options > Shortcuts menu.

Great game. Too bad I'm not fond of flash rts (not being able to right click is a pain) but I still give this a 5 star.

reminds me of warcraft two aww good times sadly i lost the key you need to put in when you load it onto a new computer
