For those finding it difficult, you can do the following,
at the start of each game, pause the game. built one reactor and at least 1 Physics lab (depending on starting credits)

I was winning really well. I had 100% offensive dominance from my spam of fighter type units. They destroyed the enemy base. The explosion from the enemy base unit causes a chain of explosions that destroys my entire camp and all of my fighters. There's that, and theres the stationary chain explosions that go on for like 10 seconds because my fighters are too stupid not to fly right into them.

fun fact if you ever infest a ship producer before the AI chooses a ship, it will always have the description of titan artillery where the fighter choice would be.

Some of the levels are outright unfair, either in your favor or aganst. Interceptor swarm is a very effective stategy. and in defense levels you can just build some repair turrets and wait for your power to generate, given it isn't defend aganst infest. for the final mission you can just build 1 annihilator cap yard and that will carry you. Final level is a pushover tbh
Biggest complaint is just how wild the difficulty can be. the difficulty score on missions is often a complete lie. Good game but not flawless.

Starts off great, but then the games devolve into 30 minutes of pause game, place barricade, unpause. An option to designate spots as "place armour here as soon as armour is destroyed would have been really good

badge hunters: You can complete the game very quickly using only interceptors and barricades.

Pause the game, spend all the starting energy on interceptors and they will quickly handle the enemy bases. It is really difficult to defend against burst of these ships. For some levels the structure regeneration upgrade is required and for others a single layer of barricades might be needed to protect the fighter bays.

For the final level you need 3 layers of barricades facing the enemy and build the fighter bays horizontally to defend against the first couple of ships. I needed 1 repair turret to prolong the life of the station but finished the level after it had been destroyed regardless.

The acid enemies ruin the game for me.. I keep coming back and playing to the point where every mission has acid then quitting.

guys! there's a hotkey to build structures easily! press "e" for small reactor, "r" for big reactor, "q" fighter bay, "1,2,3,4,5,6,7" towers, "z" stardock, "x" starport and "c,v" for your auxiliary! I hope you use it!

Great game but a little too easy when you figure it out (or occasionally impossible) TIP: for final level you start with 3000, just build 1 starport and have it build annihilators then build physics labs whenever you get enough energy, you win, with literally nothing else at all

as soon as a level starts you are instantly being attacked without any time for preperation. this is what makes this game unplayable and a 1/5. before you even can build a turret or two the enemy already killed your reactor, got your core tp below 10% and instantly destroys any defense you build. at least give us like a 5-10 second prep phase in which we can build at least something. this game has potential but because of this game breaking situation it's unplayable and therefore should not even to be considered a game at all.

Hardest level I have come across is a dual with 70 difficulty. It's against the pink "voiders" and I have yet to find a way to beat it. Physics labs and Interceptors gets voided in less than 30 seconds of play. Longest playtime was with 1 big energy generator, 1 Phy Lab, and 3 Shuriken around the base. Then I spam barricades to protect the Shuriken while slowly building energy to pause and make Interceptors. But eventually I just couldn't keep up with all their spawns even with all my Interceptors by then. Would be helpful if Pause had a hot key.

To elaborate on my comment below: Let's say you have 2 light carrier that can do x amount of damage each, you want to decide whether to buy physics lab or another light carrier next. Another physics lab would do another 2x/2 = x damage for 350 energy, while another light carrier would do 1.5x damage for 550 energy, so a physics lab would have more value for worth. The order to buy goes like this: lc lc pl pl lc pl pl lc (lc=light carrier,pl=physics lab)

Do this and the last level will be a breeze. Buy Heavy Industry to quicken ship production, Hangar Launcher to quicken carrier production, Hangar Capacity to increase carrier production. Get Physics Lab on one of the levels (it appears randomly). Then spam built light carriers and physics lab on every level! Trust me, do not use other carriers as light carriers give the most effective damage per energy. This way you pile bonus on bonus multiplicatively and is the easiest way to win most levels. More than often you will swarm the map within seconds. Important note: To get the most out of physics lab, roughly build one physics lab for every light carrier you build. Trust me on this one too I've done the math.

after trying several things easiest way to beat this : You only need 2 kind of ships. Interceptors(mainly)& a few mining. You just build reactors till ur energy runs out. Then you build interceptors around them. You don't need anything else. You also don't need to beat all lvls for final stage to apear. For final stage I build reactors around my construction thingy. Then 1 line of interceptors around them with a few mining ships. Obviously you can't build 8 reactors at once so build 4 & make the line of interceptors. Then the extra build thingy on each side so you can build the big ships & the medium. But my guess is that using interceptors only will get u there fast. This strategy works on most lvls.

after using the repair turret + reactor hack, i have discovered that there is indeed such a thing as having too many starports making dreadnoughts. as in, i had so many hugeass ships they kept running into each other and exploding, ultimately causing more damage to my base than actual enemy ships. to think that such infinite power could lead to my own undoing...

Absolutely love the chaos >:D even if you find this niche strategy that makes things easy it feels really good to be sending out to destroy destroy DESTROY
