@ Justin: Pause the game at the start. You can still build in Pause Mode! @ johnliu1: Delete *unit*? Are you kidding? ;) You can delete Buildings though with "K".

Anyone else see those HUGE ships in the Background of the ending text? Why are those not in the game? I think the Final Mission is far too easy and there's really no "final boss" just twin annihilators and those are easy to make. If those ships were in the final mission, and were immune to infestation and black hole shots(basically all instant kill effects). Then the Final mission would be a true challenge. But for now I think its a letdown compared to some "impossible missions" produced by the rarely flawed level builder. Please + this comment if you also think the final mission is too easy.

before my thoughts were just a tutorial for people who had it as hard as me, but all in all 5/5 and favorited, im sure im gonna play this again because this game rocks :)

Okay, in the beginning just spam lowest fighters on every level. before you break your head what to upgrade, just use (as soon as you get them) 2 big generators and spam miners, and depending on situation (protection of miners/tanky/pure destruction if protected) tankship, carriers or siegeship/super carrier. those do the job, upgrades arent really making a difference since every level is so well designed that as long as you use your credits you can beat one but not the other, so just see what you can do at that very stage and upgrade depending on going back to the mission you couldnt beat

The final mission, and all defence missions for that matter, are ridiculously easy. All you've got to do is build some carriers. There seriously needs to be some nerfing there; like limited-life carrier drones.

It's insanely balanced toward ship production. Turrets serve no purpose except when you want to kill the enemy base right at the beginning.

Black hole? No problem. Just build freeze drones and absolutely nothing else. With 2 enemies? Build them at the back of your base to attract less attention.

2 stars for this game. it's entertaining and great. but starport was never useable, and some other problems regarding the enemy

The last level is really easy; at that point you should have all the upgrades and most/all of the armory. Anyways, pause it immediately, then just build a 750 energy producer, a 1500 starport and produce 750 super carriers with it. Unpause and quickly build up a single layer wall, 6-8 blocks wide to protect your structures. Next get the 350 physics lab built and build more starships/energy producers as the energy allows.

Love this game, love the replay value and I love how many different strategies one can come up with to complete levels. 5/5

pretty good game, was expecting more to be there, especially the final level but was sadly disappointed ah well... word of advice. final level should be an all out skirmish with all factions at maximum level, infected included.

You start the last level with 3000, enough money to buy one Annihilator, one is enough to win all by itself. The final boss ends up being the easiest?

After a bit of trial and error; I've found that there is an easy way to stop the chain reaction of explosions. You have to use a Constructor to extend your building space to the area needed. Treat the repair turrets as somewhat of a fire extinguisher, and place a bunch of them within close proximity of the explosions, therefore "putting out the fire".
The Infestors are tough to say the least, it's too risky to go heavy metal against them.
I found that starting out with Miners early game backed up by physics labs, and making a transition to interceptors worked best for me. You have to overwhelm them with numbers. Anything they infest will be shot down so fast it won't matter. But this is where the chain reaction of explosions became a huge issue. Like I said, just use the repair turrets, gradually make you way towards their base with them, and your fleet with push forth.

This is getting ridiculous. The chain reaction of explosions keep on trailing back to my base and destroying me; it never fails.

Final level, piece of cake. Getting the dreadnaught. 20 restarts till the black hole generator destroyed the main base in one hit. Then i won, after about 15 minutes. Yeesh.

game was very challenging and fun, but I was able to beat the last level while still stuck at some of the "easier" levels. More upgrades would be nice in the sequel (yes, we all want one!), a tech tree would be preferable.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok so um im rying to beat all the levels and the 200 diff one is extremely easy. need more upgrades. seriously i have like 3000 points and nothin to spend em on...

Physics labs stack... Starport plus as many physics lab as you can fit give an endless stream of capital ships. The effect is large enough that you can beat the last mission with 2 fighter bays making interceptors and physics labs.
