The ball physics seem reasonable but the flipper action was a little off. When you hit a ball on the inside of the flipper it exerts less force than on the end of the flipper. In this game the flipper seems to be treated more like a "curved paddle" that shoots upwards. (Sort of the difference between a bunt and a swing...if the bunt were done with a curved bat.) Otherwise I thought it was great. The goals within the game seems obscure at times...I wasn't sure what I should be aiming for next...but I did just fine by slamming the ball whenever I could. For larger developments I'd like bigger boards and maybe some stronger thematic "adventure"-type stuff. (Maybe a board for each stage of an epic journey..."the woods", "the castle", "the dungeon", etc.

Great game... Bumbers are a bit on the strong side... flippers are a bit small as well... as far as a level possibilty goes... have you thought about reversing the gravity for one level?

I love real pinball, frequent arcades couple times a month to play, but really golf-n-stuff in AZ is the only one that has alot of machines, but I love how your game has objectives and bounties. Most people dont know pinball isnt just about smacking the ball. There are ALOT of things that need to be done in order or missions to accomplish to "win" or get the ultimate bonus round/multiball. The only thing id like to see in your game is jackpots and multi-ball, keep up the great work I had a blast.

the speed and direction after hits is odd. ball is slowly moving hits an anemy and should reflect in direction A, instead it goes in direction C and at 5x its base speed.

hey, you mentioned wanting to know whats off with the physics. the ball feels plastic. it flys VERY high with little force. when ABOVE not touching the flippers, when its hit it flys. in real life it would absorb some of the impact and not fly as high as if it were on the flipper. the bouncing is too strong. redo the physics so that it feels like the ball has weight and it should be perfect.

The bumpers shouldn't send it straight up (As said many times before) and I found that the paddles are slightly unresponsive and they should go up faster. How could paddles that slow hit the ball that fast?

Kinda small. It's a really good idea but it seems a bit restricted. What I mean is that the levels are very small and that you don't have much freedom. Overall I liked it but I hope you can make some improvements if there's a sequel. 4/5

The game is cool, but it needs extra work. The physics are not entirely well done: the ball feels like a balloon. You should also try to implement ramps, multi-ball, and extra lanes.

I really only have two complaints. The first is that quests shouldn't take a few seconds before a new one shows up. I had one in the fourth level that said "Kill 4 imps." I completed it, and on my way down, I hit two of the shadow fae enemies on the way down. The next quest said "Kill 8 shadow fae", but since I had hit two on the way down before the quest showed up, they didn't count, and I had to stick around for a third batch of them before I could get a new one.
The other complaint is that some of the targets are too hard to hit, the third stage in particular. The quest I got there was "Hit the ball lock 3 times", but over the course of the entire play through, I only managed to hit it twice. Also, the four little things that increase the chest size don't always register when you go through them. I suspect it's by being too far to the left or the right of the target.

the "bumpers" just above the flippers are silly-they always send the ball nearly straight up, no matter what the ball's speed and angle were when it hit, even though they look like they should sen the ball at a much lower angle. it's also weird the way the ball is propelled upward every time it hits a monster, no matter the angle...

@damijin sometimes youll have very little upward momentum and hit the bottom of a monster and get launched into awhole lot of monsters really fast

The best pinball game ever seen in Kongregate!
Loved all about the game, simple graphics, the phisics engine, the sub-quests to acheive in the boards... very good ideas, in a brilliant execution!

On the last level I was facing the boss and I had one ball left, when I sent it out it completely cleared the paddles and bouncers and headed straight to death. 3/5, would of been 4 without that glitch.

We're hearing a good amount about the physics feeling off -- can anyone elaborate on how they think it should be changed in order to improve the game? What parts feel "off" is it too floaty? should monster collisions not push you as hard as they do? do the kickers at the bottom feel retarded? Any feedback we can get will help improve the concept!

Thanks for all the awesome feedback guys, this has been a really fun project, we're taking all the feedback into account, I think we can make this even better! Thanks for all the feedback, keep it coming :)

well, im giving it a 4 of 5 for originality, the little quests were fun, the chest in the third level was pretty neat too. the physics need some work. i think the graphics added a different atmosphere to the game than say the windows pinball 3d. i rather liked it. maybe more quests, with a storyline?

Wow, pinball return! now as a "rpg-kind" with quests and monsters... all this fun stuff in a pinball game! It get a 5/5 from me for sure!

This is a nice change of pace. The stark art style really fits the whole premise of the game, and the "quest-based" play is an amusing alternative to the usual braindead score display. It's a pity the ball is as floaty as it is, for it really undermines what you might call the "virtual tactile sensation" that's really necessary for a pinball sim. (Play a couple rounds of Windows Pinball and you'll see what I mean.) A thought for 2.0: Add a tilt function. 3\5

great game and stuff, though bumper-physics are really non-comprehensible. also, like in a lot of other pinball-games, the ball seems to fall right between both paddles quite often.

That reminds me "Sonic Pinball" but in 10times worst ...
Physics are really bad, sound is even more bad, levels are basic, lock is useless, and so on ...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
good game, but on the first level I kept hitting the ball just so it would hit the spring loaded bumper on the bottom, and get shot into the exit. D: 5/5

@Axis Vampire, the levels end if you loose all your lives. You go to the next one almost no matter what you do. Also a great game 4.5\5.
