this game is fun, but the bloodlust system is disastrously flawed. you can play and log on for approximately 10 - 15 minutes but have to wait several hours in order to play an extra 10 - 15 minutes. It's a shame the art and gameplay were fairly interesting, but not enough game time left me wanting more.

This game is crap. Its 10 minutes of 3 second battles then go see if you can buy better weapons. Then wait about 5 hours and do it again. This game has such and interesting premise, and its got a bunch of cool background systems, but the whole point of the game is the battles, which they put absolutely no effort or thought into.

Interesting how I have had cookies always enabled, either way i look to make sure, stills always accepted. Yet still can't play. Seems like an interesting game so I won't rate it.

@Aerofluff: VtM takes a lot from the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, but yeah, you could say WoD made the "rules" of modern vampire fiction.

@Herosoyyo: Yep. Ah, VV... Velvet Velour. But anyway, almost anything with vampires these days rips off something from VtM. VtM is the grandfather of everything (good) about vampires, IMO. You've got Underworld, Trueblood and Twilight all with vampires and werewolves and the same hierarchical setup present in Vampire: the Masquerade. They can never really come up with anything original.

@masterpunks: One of the female portraits is actually a character from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, one of the videogames based on World of Darkness lore. So yeah.

Is it just me or does this game take from the Vampire: the Masquerade lore quite liberally. If you don't what that is just look it up.

Very tedious... it lacks a solid storyline which may hold a player's attention in other games of this type, and the "Hunt" system is unforgiving for new players.

Theese vampires today *sigh*, not only do they empty your vains for blood, now they wanna suck your wallet dry aswell... 100 bucks for a picture of a friggen horse, id get to the ride a pony to hell and back for a price like that and i might even call it a demon steed aswell.

This game, though to many may incite an eyeroll and a "yeah right".. I can't help but play this game. I hate that I like it, but I do. It's not super unique or anything, but it still draws me... after a few weeks I think about this game and get the urge to play it... it's like a disease!

that tutorial was slightly lacking. the end left me very confused and felt like I was unprepared for the other interface that weren't even mentioned in the tutorial.

I think why people are pissed about game is that you have to donate for certain things,for example for extra servant. when I saw that I felt frustrated. I don't think their idea to get extra servant by donating is bad,but I would've liked if it doesn't show it on "my vampire" part. if it was only mentioned in donating,I would never knew about that and never got frustrated. it just makes me feel like I have to pay something to unlock everything...

@maruset nope, but it's fine. I have the cat and I love it! Although many dispute the hellhound is best for starters. You can get more servants (including the starter ones) at halloween events at a price.
