"Without your help, the nation of Beneril descended into war. Death and suffering rage across the land and remained for many years." Isn't that a little harsh? I mean, I lost ONE battle against dudes who weren't the main threat!

The impossible badge is impossible because of the screwed up controls, if the controls were how I had them for the rest of the game it would be easy

Episode 4 is one area to be cleared with a huge boss at the end, all the controls were screwed up for me but I cleared it losing only 1 life at the final boss.

Episode 3 completed with two archer henchman and Excalibur cheat, please note you want to have Excalibur for the final boss in particular. @someone who said the numkeys don't work do you numlock on or off?

Also I forgot to mention it really pays to save up gold and buy ALL the armor, I didn't bother buying most of the attacks. I think the only attack I bought was the triple kick one.

Initially, I played the game not knowing about the cheats and died ALOT, ultimately I got to using the excalibur cheat for episode 1, 5x healthy for episode 2. I have not done episodes 3 and 4 yet. I got 33 kills in survival mode by just spamming the attack key whilst walking along, nothing to it really.

The first hard level with the mounted spearmen is BS. Lost 5 lives there. Whoever's picking the BOTD's should probably get written up.

I remember why I hate this game - once you get the first boss, even easy becomes hard, and it doesnt reset or give you back the guy if he dies, so you are basically fed.

One thing I like about this game is how it puts your team mates lives above your own, since theirs are always more expensive than yours (not to mention how useful they are). So in a way, you are truly filling the hero role, sacrificing you life for them, even if it's just to avoid spending unnecessary gold haha!

This game is fun but it's also terribly unbalanced. The Trajeck level that's supposed to be medium difficulty is easier than the Chogro level that has an easier difficulty. I understand the choice of multiple attacks tied to one key, as if when you are in the midst of battle you don't have time to think, but in the game it's just a gamble whether you hit strong or weak. There should've been a way to see the stats of each attack, with pros and cons and have then tied to different keys. The game is also grind. I lost count of how many times I had to rebuy mages, and they are costly!

I would like to know why sometimes my attacks do 90-100% damage with a strike and sometimes hittin the same enemy they do 0-5&

Hard to play the game when I can't even use the T or Y keys on my laptop. Needed to get an external keyboard plugged in - not sure why that is. Would like Z X C or J K L
to be combat controls.

Why the hell is space even a keybind if it isn't for jump???? Game after game after game, space is almost universally JUMP, so, obviously, space has to be keybound to brining up the options menu which is what ESC is almost universally for. /facepalm

After about 1.5 hours I finally completed the campaign and I unlocked survival mode. Does anybody play this game for fun or do people only play it for badges and experience?

What gets me is why I get downvoted for saying the botd is broken, still got it in the end by reporting with screenshot.

Don't forget you can block with down and jump with up in survival. Block arrows/magic or jump over them. Also, use cheats to quickly get through the first chapter. Disable cheats afterwards.

This game is slow and tedious. It would benefit from a very needed damage upgrade but it would still be a repetitive game.

Janky control system, multiple commands mapped to the same keystrokes, and there is too much randomness in what the game decides will happen (enemy flinching sometimes happens or doesn't, enemies can come in with 2 mounted spearmen, causing a reduction in effectiveness, one attack is objectively better to use, but RNG uses the other).
This would be offset if there was a way to increase your damage output or have other keys mapped to your abilities, instead of being at the mercy of how the game feels at that moment.
