The AI could be a bit smarter, or have different flavors: aggressive, evasive, determined, etc.. Maybe a set of objectives for the less creative players, e.g. "Manipulate the race so Red wins after 2000m without killing anyone", "Stall all cars equally: keep spread less than 250m", "Kill whoever leading the race using only one hazard cube after 3000m", etc.

To the developer... I too participated in a 48 hour game jam on the weekend. I however was at my place of education doing it. I was told and believe that a 48 hour game jam is for innovation and not just one competition I believe a company announced (going from what a third party told me) they do things like game jams but over two weeks rather then 48 hours to see what they can come up with. The simplest ideas are the most awesome at times. I (being only 7 weeks into the first year of my course and only making one game in the program I was using) got no where in my development but my idea is awesome and I am totally gonna keep working on it. Have like an unlock-able in your game when you reach a certain score saying "48 hour edition" which has this in it. Those are my thoughts about it. Happy Game Designing :D (you don't need to listen to me, not saying you have too but your comments seem to me like you think you have to leave it, which I don't believe you do)

Please expend it, its very hard to find a game like this, or make a sequal. Spending time on developing this game will worth alot. PLEASE KEEP THIS GAME AND DEVELOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are considering making a sequal, i would love to see a replay button, with different kinds of angel and a option where you could follow the different cars. I hate it when i make a sharp turn uphill and everyone crashes at once and i'm unable to see the action :O Besides, it would be pretty cool to watch from inside a car as it flies hundreds of meters through the air, before exploding >:D!

What kind of suspension do these cars have? Also: why can they not drive in a straight line? "You are the drunk road."

Should be able to respawn the cars that have fallen off the track so you can keep playing instead of having to restart once they all die in a firey explosion :O

Definitely nice and fun. Please do restart pressing 'R', and leave the screen free of things to click on. Needs new features or lifetime will remain short.

You don't have to leave the game as it is, you can add onto it but just submit this version. Saying you can't add onto it is really stupid in my opinion. It feels like you don't want to anyways so coming up with this excuse just fits, is what I think you thought. It is a great game and who cares if you add more to it?
Lol, "excuse" :) - I'm considering all suggestions for a sequel. This version on Kong is actually the version people see when they follow the links from the gamejam website, so I'm leaving it as is. But I'll definitely put up a message here if I get time to make a sequel!

Like you said you are making a sequel. On your sequel could you possibly make it two player? Someone is driving with wasd, and someone is controlling the road with the mouse. That would be alot more fun, and if you did make two player could you make an option to control how many cars are against you? Awesome game... so far.

This is amazing.
The simple controls, the possible secanrios, and the possible amounts of fun.
Even though I argee to the people who want to "gamerificatiy" the game, you should also consider adding a "sceanrio" mode to pit your road skills to the test.

This is an amazing game concept, I'd love to see you expand it. An option to invert the control scheme would be nice, or options to invert the horizontal and vertical separately.

I congratulate the dev for bashing this out in such a short amount of time... it started out as a boring idle game, and it quickly turned into.. how fast can i kill drivers... how high can i make them jump... how bendy and hilly i can make it and still make it past 100
this is definately a contender for game of the week and month on this site

the green guy was in 2nd and he flipped over and then the light blue guy in last scooped up the green guy and carried him through the rest of the race. YEA TEAMWORK!!!
No, I hadn't seen Roadeo before I started this, although someone did point it out to me while I was developing it. I got the idea just from the tweet mentioned in the description. TBH, what more do you need when you already have "imagine if you could play as the road"?...

Very good game! It's addictive for sure! I've been playing for hour(s)! :)
Like someone already said, it's funny how cars are killing each other. It's like a dead race or something :)
my suggestion:
Add an option so that players could control cars and voila! You will have a game that kick asses! ^^

For sure it's an unsual game and it's great. Cars should be more difficult to loose control. There's must be goals to reach. Even if it's a 48h game, I highly recommend you to finish and update this game. 3/5 just because people want more, convert it into a 5/5 game ;-)

Cars have emotions. This means they're self-conscious. I *knew* it! (Anyway, great game. It's simple, fun and weird. Like it.)

I know you said you weren't going to edit this game much, but if you ever make a sequel. (which you must) You should add wasd movement style, more items, q and e to speed up cars, and then maybe some fancy way to build and share tracks.

One thing awesome would the ability to select the type of road:mud, ice, asphalt, sand, etc...
Otherwise, you could let us choose directly the number of cars at the beginning, weapons (XD), maybe some looping and barrel rolls?
Aslo:Type of car, customisation, track save, replay, other things to drop, altering the road with space or gap of lava for epic jump, background, graphic options, zoom - dezoom,.environment(city, volcano), bystanders.
All of these are suggestions, so you can turn them down, but it would still be awesome if you didn't!
