Very great game, but the controls should be customable. I messed up so often because I pressed the wrong button. In my opinion, if you want three adjacent keys for controls, it should have been J for jump, L for lift and K (as it is inbetween) for switching layers. But I like it nevertheless. 5/5

Oh... my... god... I've not had post-game goosebumps like that from a flash game before. Bravo, I figured the ending would be something like that, but I only got it part right. Very fun and challenging game. If you use a strategy guide on this one you're only robbing yourself of the long build up that peaks right at the end. [bows] You've more than earned this 5/5.

i said SCARY... because i saw all these strange people crying ... and when i finished a level the radio-like sounds 0_0 i don't know the story...

wow at the bottom peice of text on the menu...i was expecting another abstract and deep bit of text but instead i got: 'quantities of carrot juice may lead to the ability to see the alien that lives behind your bedroom wall' =/

I FINALLY FINISHED THE !@#$%^& THING! Oh my god, that took forever, and some levels had me tearing my hair out. There was a lot of swearing involved.
I love Stephen though! :)

To the people complaining about the controls: I find it easiest to use the ASD keys in conjunction with the left and right arrows.

for all those who didn't know it, the box on the right hand side under neath the name of the current level both shows how far you are and lets you switch between levels.

Creative, simple, and fun all at the same time. Most of the game was easy with only a few slightly challenging levels, so I can't say this was a very hard puzzle game, but it still required you to think nonetheless. Simplistic in design, though dark and depressing in setting and story, especially the story at the end of the good ending. 5/5.

As mentioned earlier there are some funny texts/phrases used in this game. Unfortunately it seems to me that the desiger put too much effort in theses texts and neglected the game itself -.-

In the inevitable case that someone flips out over my comment on the creators being insane, no, the creators are not acually insane. Happy now, extremely-literal-minded-flammer-who-will-eventually-read-this-comment. You know have your disclaimer and wicked-long title. I have fulfilled your hopes and dreams. (Probably)

Also read all of the words on the main menu. The are not really important, but interesting enough that it would be worth your while. They also prove that at least on of the creators is slightly insane (if not all)

Listen to the messages while you play the game. Some off them help you understand what's going on (i'm not talking about the instructions, either) with the story. Also make sure you complete BOTH endings, and don't skip the final scene (which is just the first cutscene, with a 10 second extension) because if you do, you will skip the text at the end. Read the text. Each ending has a different text at the credits. (If you mess up trying to find the good ending, do NOT use the pill to restart. Kill yourself on the spikes.)

The quote at the credits with the paper board thing explains it all. You decide your future and do whatever you feel with it, not everyone else :) !
Although I fail to see why the f**k future Steven chose to throw his present self inside the damned boxthat he created himself? Was the present self Steven that miserable and stupid to jump inside the "trap" made by his future self?
And the ending, the freshly made future Steven that came out of the box, passing the turn to his past self, simply... vanish?

Love the game... 5/5, easily. Now time for a Stephen theory. ^_^
Stephen represents another way of looking at life. He is a different perspective entirely.
While he is a growth on your head, he is a part of you that you aren't sure you want. You want to remove it. When we are presented with a different viewpoint, our instinct is to dismiss it, ignore it, prove it wrong.
When the growth leaves (And the character isn't sure if he's Stephen or himself), it represents the confusion between right and wrong. You begin to see the other side, but you are convinced that only one of them can be right.
The true ending (Gemini Badge) is the merging of Stephen and the character. It is the merging of right and wrong, black and white. At this point in the psychological journey, you are able to analyze every situation from every angle, completing you.
