(spoiler alert... maybe) The ending is just that simple? Giving up? Or am I missing something? Or is it changed in the newest version? I had finished it a while ago.

Fun game, definitely a new take on zombie games. A little suggestion: when researching, it would be nice to have an audio or text message when the research is done, no matter what tab you're on. I kept forgetting about research I was doing, and this would have helped me.

I loled at "without trying to sound gross, she seems to focus on long hard objects," and "i'm really not trying to sound gross, but it seems the harder the object, the stronger the reaction will be."

The interface could be improved. No scrolling, just list, along with what the item will do. Make it easier to check the research. Maybe list what percentages are needed for the reactions with mouse over. Basically, the game feels trudgey at points because of all this back and forth in menus.

(Spoilerific for those worried) It really hit me when my female zombie took the cell phone and whispered "Hello?" For all of the doc's cynicism, it seems like given time and patience the zombies can regain their minds, at least to a degree. The research, IMO, isn't hopeless. While there might not be a cure, he seems to have brushed on the idea of treatment. Of course, by this point his own mental state isn't exactly fully rational. A pity... it presents the idea that while they might look horrible, the zombies could possibly become something other than just feral savages. Maybe I'm being a pollyana here, but that's what I got out of it.

Just as an initial glance, someone has borrowed heavily from Day of the Dead. Just changed the name of the doctor who did most of the testing on Bub, and abandoned launch silo changed to "storage area". Of course, I could be wrong as I play, but at a glance, I'd say you just made a game of that.

This game is intense, and difficult! played it through on newgrounds.com! Remember, some reactions require other reactions to react! Also, did EvilDog fix the 100X completion thing or do you HAVE to beat the game to acquire it? (still working on that) 5/5

Hey, it's George Romero's "Day of the Dead: the Flash Game"! I was just waiting for bub to show up.... "Hello... Aunt... Sally!"

it would also be cool to show what reactions have already been identified per item. essentially, we're just going through a checklist

I played this on another website because it had trouble loading on newgrounds (and here apparently) quit game because it seemed to hard to unlock stuffed animal

........this is what i have been waiting for since i found out about zombie games..........you sir are a scholer and a saint

not trying to troll or anything, but if updates are made, the "left" side in the game would actually be the zombie's right side, and vice versa. Again not meant to troll, just a suggestion if other updates are made. Also epic win in making believable spelling mistakes for the Alpha team note about having trouble seeing.

near the end, I accidentally cut off both arms right when the commander walked in and demanded I show responses. But, without arms, it is impossible to get a response, and I can't switch zombies because I can't use weapons.

looks at bone advanced requirements:the subject must have been hit with a stick on his entire body to understand the concept of a melee weapon. *looks at zombie and sees 11 cuts, 6 bullet wounds and notices it starving* "Do i really need to hit mit with a stick, cause' that knife sure did the job

I played this on Newgrounds, and I'm so glad you added in a skip button for scenes that the player has already seen! Props for listening to comments and improving your game based on them!

so, fully researched all items and made sure to get advanced reactions from the zombies. Thought getting a zombie to NOT eat human meat would win the game, but I suppose there is no way to actually win, is there?

Re: If you stay aware of the brain state you're trying to achieve, it should be less tedious and give you purpose.
Not really. :\

i'm not sure why it takes time to research things. time doesn't really play any factor in the game. when you improve all your research facilities, it's pretty quick, but having to go into each item to research is time consuming. at a certain point, you should just be able to see a list of all your items to research/use. it'd be a much easier, quicker interface. there's no gameplay to be gotten from having a bulky interface.

An important problem I can see with this is that you can never skip the animations. I understand they're part of the game, but I've seen my zombie eat a kebab enough to not ever want to see it again. Other than that, the game is great.
