I find it astonishing that the last update was September 23rd 2011, yet the developer is STILL addressing individual players comments. Thats an unprecedented level of dedication. 5/5, Favorited, all that jazz before I even pressed start playing. Respect to the Devs.
This should be. But there is one more reason, that I am checking this game everyday. Actually we are working on the next version of the game. Though positive comments are welcome. They make us feel good. But we really wait for the negative comments. I know they may be painful, but will help us to improve the quality of our next venture.

I don't know , but many sent me private message that you are starting a new trend on kongregate. Now many developer is following this. I think there must be a communication between developer and player. I like democracy, that is the reason that most of time I am living on kongregate. its a great website.

To tell you the truth, I wasn't sure what to expect from this game. I was very pleased with it! It was fun, not overly complicated, had a neat story, but it had some drawbacks.... It wasn't long enough! I liked it a lot and wish it was longer. 5/5 Good job.

In the Spectromancer: Gathering of Power, We are changing the complete campaign. We decided to remove the awarding of cards, Instead we will let you use all the cards at start + You can upgrade the cards. For example you can increase the attach of some cards, improve other function of cards etc. You can download the Beta version from spectromancer.com

Where is this famous pet youre supposed to start with after you get it as a reward? i have given it +4 armor, +1 attack, but have yet to see it..

Unlike Tyrant, there's no energy system or game-breaking cash-grabbing epic cards. Unlike Elements, there's no losing games due to having bad draws. And something which beats both games flat - you don't need to spend weeks grinding to get your dream deck which (In Tyrant's case) suddenly becomes sub-optimal when the new card packs are released or (In Element's case) loses 10 times in a row because the very important card(s) in your deck fails to appear. You'd expect that you need to complete the campaign at least once to unlock cards but THEY ARE ALL GIVEN TO YOU AT THE VERY BEGINNING. This is a dream come true.

I would like to thanks all users who reported me some crucial bugs. I have fixed all those. Though I have tried to respond their each PM personally, But I still request to everyone to recheck the things. Due to a long work for campaign card customization, I couldn't update the bugs in the night. But now the both things are fixed. I know that I have been charged 0.5 downrate :). But I accept your judgement.
Now you can enjoy your game with more features and freedom.

ArchMage Strategy: Use Chronomancer with Great Oak and a custom deck vs. Mad Hermit (weakest type of Archmage). At the start, use cheap 1/2 cards with Giant Turtles/Phoenixes to stall him until you can get a ChronoEngine into the field. Then, focus on building up your ChronoEngine stock, placing phoenixes/turtles against elementals or other powerful cards. Then, when you have 2/3 CE's in play, keep skipping turns and use TimeStop each time and he will never be able to play! I got the Double Ace badge rather simply this way. Please rate + so others see :)

Tip: Use 'Arch Duels' for the achievements. The ludicrous amount of HP you start with makes a lot of otherwise difficult achievements trivial.

Awesome game, looking forward to the extended campaign.. I've noticed one thing though, in the archmage battle where your cards get switched when you play a card of a certain source. When I played a class card (in my case Chrono) the game froze. Also a minor thing, in the battle statistics it says "Damage dealed", which should be "dealt".. Sorry about that, but I'm a perfectionist and stuff like that keeps bugging me. Anywho 5/5 for sure xD

Actually, here is how I see classes: Cleric: Focused in healing and power boosting. Illusionist: Focusing in using the enemy offensive power against hin. Control: Focused in preventing the oponent from actually plaiyng any cards. Mechanical: Focused in basically destroiyng wall oponent creatures. Chaosmaster: Focused in randon effects. Necromancer: Mostly focused in causing mass destroction, often both to your oponent and to yourself and your creatures. Demonologist: Focused in effects that trigger when your creatures die. Beastmaster: Creatures can only be summoned once: Afterwards, they are replaced by a spell until they die. Sorcerer: Focused in spells in general. Mad Hermit: Has a free Magic Bunny whose atrack increase over time, and many of his cards grow more powerfull with the Bunny, but the cards of this element are weakest then the rest to make up for the advantage. Goblin Chieftain: Focused in direct attacks. Chronomancer: Focused in controling the flow of the game.

I recall playing this game when it was just a single level. I though "Wow! This game is really promising!" I saw it was multiplayer, I almost just refused to click it because of thinking it'd be ruined by pay-to-play. I'm glad I gave this game a chance. Easy 5/5. You (guys) are amazing developers, and I hope to see more games by you (guys) in the future.

Though I have fixed it before you comment came into existence. Many people got the badge after that update. Now I have re-updated the version with one more early call for badge. If you still did not get the badge, please re-open the game and try to load it, you will get it immediately. If there is still an issue, I am sorry to say that you need to replay the campaign (May be because your game save file is not at proper place).

This is very interesting.. in fact I downloaded it and ordered my friends to do the same!
However, your download version doesn't tell me something I'm interested in: It's not very specific at what features are specifically missing from the game, and while I'm certainly willing to donate to aid in the development of such an aspiring game, I'm a bit confused at what you're offering in return!
I am working day & night for making a super flash version of this game, with hundreds of new creatures & spells. In-fact I need support from all players. The thing which I will create will be 100% free to play. I will not keep any item in the game which will need anything from your pockets. I hope that soon you will be able to enjoy my new masterpiece.

you should make the arrows on the skip turn button green instead of gray, to make it more visible. good game other than that.
