Apparently, butterflies were created in God's image. Humans only exist so that there can be someone to appreciate them.

Dick Bastardly, you clearly don't understand what dialogue is or why it explains that you aren't supposed to be able to send your guy where you want him to go. =P I suspect you were one of the people complaining that the guy in depict1 was lying to you.

Hey, who wants a hard but short level?

This level is hard, certainly at least as hard as level 11! But it's shorter.|

This game is one of the best I have seen in a while. Pixel art is good, music is perfect, and the story is very nice. It take me back to old good gameboy days... (5/5 +fav)

This is such a little gem. Frustratingly hard, but not enough to make you give up, with a great atmosphere, and an absolutely brilliant soundtrack which would be worth 5 stars alone. Best of all, you can have the OST for cheap, though you really should pay more than the minimal 1$ if you can afford it.

It's a hard game, but a kind of hard that you know you can beat it. It really needs badges! Great music, cute graphics :)

This reminds me of that story how people wanted to build a tower to heaven so they could see God and become like Him themselves, but God stopped them by giving them all different languages so they can't communicate, as a punishment for not appreciating the gift of life as it is...

I've been waiting forever for this game to come to kongregate and the treasures are hidden on the level where you first can't walk left, keep going left and you get it, on the level where there is the moving platform instead of going in the door keep going past on the platform, and finally on the last level, instead of going back into the tower move left to fall then back right well you're falling then enter

SPOILERS:
The three secrets are:
1. On the level where you first cannot move left, continue past the door and you will eventually fall through the floor to the bonus room.
2. On the level where there is a moving platform you have to follow, when you jump off it to reach the door - do not enter it; instead, jump back on the platform as it scrolls off the right of the screen and you enter the bonus room.
3. Right before you WOULD enter the last door at the end of level 11, jump down. Just after falling back into level 11 again, you will land on a doorway. That is number 3.
The changes to the ending are that a) the dialogue is different; he just says stuff about the tower is bare and the riches and stuff. b) at the end of the credits, there is a picture of the character with a butterfly; and then a picture 'Fin' for ending which just shows lots of butterflies flying from the broken tower.

That was rather fun! A bit easier and shorter than I expected, but still fairly easy. Only real trouble I had was with 9's half second tiny jump you have to do immediately.

The soundtrack is too great for this game's own good! It's probably the only flash game I remember because of the soundtrack. It's THAT good. I had to even put it all in a playlist on Spotify. Couldn't believe the first time I heard it that it came from a flash game, damn.

I really like this game. The only negative thing about it: how the hell should you discover the secrets without espacodes comment? but that doesnt matter. Do you remember the moments that were like "f-ff-FFUUUUUU(...) ... *sigh* ok lets retry."? Just because of the music... btw. you think this is hard? imagine the tower was not abacterial...

God: Thou shalt not touch bricks from the side. You: Alright. God: Thou shalt not touch bricks from the bottom. You: Fair enough. God: Thou shalt not touch bricks from the top. You: FOR F**K SAKES!

Just when I thought the gameplay was enough for 5/5, the piano music in the end along with the poetry touched me. Only a few games have managed to do that.
Great concept, very very creative. Can't believe nobody ever came up with the idea for some divine power to set rules to make the level harder!

We need more games like Tower of heaven in this day and age. It accomplishes in 8-bit what some games can't accomplish with high-def graphics.

To whoever reads this, just know that this game was my all time favorite childhood flash game. I've never been so encapsulated by a video game, and that still holds true to this day.

Absolutely loved it. I'm glad I checked the 'new' games, because this week's highest rated games disappointed me. The music was great. The graphics style was great. The rules were great. Overall, very different and refreshing, and a whole lot of fun. Just wish more people would realize that...
