I once worked in a pizzeria. It was a great job, but frankly way too easy. It usually took only about 10 seconds for a customer to order a pizza and I didn't have to write it down. You could pretty much just add toppings haphazardly. We cooked all the pizzas for about the same length of time, and if one was ready early, we could take it out and let it cool. Using a pizza cutter was so easy it was almost fun. Most of all, we had several people working so that the person taking orders didn't have to make the pizzas.
I used to wonder how long I would waste my life in that job.
Until I found this game, that is. This really takes thing up a notch : exact quantities of toppings, not being able to cool off pizzas or re-cook them if they weren't cooked long enough, having to be pretty exact about the orientation when cutting the pizza. If I had not moved on from my GED to a 2 year degree, I'm not sure I would have been awarded the Register Biscuit Badge.

for quick botd, make the perfect pizza for wally and maybe 1 or 2 other customers. the rest? uncooked, uncut cheese pizzas. just skip all the menus

In 2007 I posted a comment saying I would get all the badges for this... Well today... Four years later... I have gotten that final badge :)

Skipping orders from gold customers may save many clicks, but it'll take much more time to unloack all customers. New customers come whenever u get a higher rank. U need a certain amount of tips to get to a new rank. Those gold customers give good tips even if u just do it fairly well. U may want to serve them after other customers and do it in a casual manner. U'll get promoted nearly twice as quick and get glared at much less frequently.

a crazy person's tip: once you get a bronze, silver or gold customer, no matter how much you screw up, you can't lose that status. if you're anything like me, when going for the last badge, I just did the last customer's order right, everybody else got the margarita.

The feelin' when you put all the toppings in random places all over the pizza, burn it up and cut it into tiny pieces and then serve it.. The customers are ready to explode. ♥

I hit the badge requirement and then started messing with the customers. Four slices of pepperoni on the left? No, you get a lone anchovy in the middle of your pizza, which I will slice the sides off so you can truly appreciate the fish majesty I choose to bestow upon you. Now get the hell out of my restaurant.

Once a customer becomes a three-start customer, they only get raw cheese pizzas. That's what the customer chart is good for!

Well I finally came back and got the two hard badges, game starts out kinda fun, but really gets tedious after day 20ish...here's a slight cheat for the badges: Once you get a gold medal on a customer (15 pizza's), start giving them plain cheese uncooked pizza & failing. You will get very close to max rank just getting 35 people gold and it's way faster to not serve them (no penalty, just no tip). It also cycles people that you actually need into the rotation faster. The RNG in this game is terrible -- I was on day 100+ and had only served Olga 9 times before I started failing people and started getting her almost every day. GL to the endurance crowd!

Finally!! The last hard badge on this game is seriously the most time-consuming badge on this site. I've gotten the impossibles for Monster's Den, Balloon Invasion and more; nothing else even came close to the amount of time I had to pour into this game for 1 badge. If you attempt it, be warned; I reached it at 139 days in-game and HOURS of real-time play. It will take Forever!

I DIDN'T THINK THIS WOULD WORK! BUT IT DOES!
Just so it doesn't get lost: if you name yourself "almostpapa" at the start of the game, you start the file at rank 30, with 35 customers unlocked and all but the 35th one being gold rank. Should give you the first 3 badges instantly. Then you can grind out 16-17 days for the last one, which is more than any reasonable person should do to enjoy this game.

For some reason, I find this game the most difficult out of all the other Papa's games (despite it being the first game), because there is no 'trash' option for us to throw away any failed/poorly made pizzas in the earlier processes.

Why do we keep rewarding developers who make unoriginal games? Kongregate, there are way better games that deserve being the "Badge of the Day".

Poor customers. The first 15 pizza's they get are almost perfect, but after that the only pizzas they're getting are plain, raw, uncut ones. I don't understand why they keep coming back.
