I'm very impressed, Flipline. Just a couple of suggestions for minor improvements though. It would be nice if you could see all the customers preferences in the customer file, i.e. also how long they want their pizza to bake and how many slices they prefer. Also, it would be nice to be able to see on the ticket how far along that order has come, i.e. if it's having toppings added, in the oven etc.

I love the customers false smiles when they have waited too long, or something else is wrong although the rest is perfect!

That's simple- customers only order one pizza. however, they can ask for 3 parts of Onion, 3 parts of something else and 3 parts of Anchovis. Just remember that it's all one pizza.
I really like this game.

OK - I give up - someone else asked this as well - but how do you cut two pizzas for one ticket/customer without 'finishing order' after the first???
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Of course, I can agree, you can make the ones which take less time but this is only when you have 2 customers which means you don't go by the 'first come first serve' basis. This means you lose less points overall as you lose green points slower than baking points, GENERALLY.

Okay, even worse now, due to the celebration, I got a '58' for my baking. Yeah this rocks. 4/5 may move to 3/5 which means you just passed.

Well, you could've froze time instead of making time move when the idiots(AKA VIP(Very Important Pests)) are 'celebrating' at your 'immaculate pizza' So anyway, when they are celebrating or doing their thing, you lose time. This valuable time is about 15 points in the Oven.
Really Lame, IMHO

Well done! The irony is as always the best part of waking up. Including customer pranks would make the game complete. Maybe some kind of variable between tips and "fun"

I think it's funny how there's a bright light coming out of the pizza box when you give someone a pizza. Great game, 5/5.

I'll put the matter to rest :) The timer starts when a customer walks in the door, and there's a certain amount of time that they're comfortable waiting before taking away percentage points. After you take their order, they're comfortable waiting for a certain length of time based on how long they want it baked, as well as how many people are also currently waiting in line.
The in-game Help also has score tips for each of the stations, if anyone is curious for more info. How you distribute toppings is an important part of the scoring process as well.

man, I play games to get away from my job. Not to feel even more stress. LOL Still a great effort and the best job I have seen in a game in this style. Cheers!!!

Very good. But why does it take up so much time to take orders and deliver finished pizzas? And I'll chime in with a big me too on the tips issue: let me do something with all that money!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
TheTester, I tested your complaint, as I agree that picking up all the orders immediately, then leisurely filling them out one or two at a time would be a pretty big exploit. However, my service score was severely hindered when I tried this. I believe that "waiting" time goes from when they enter the restaurant to when they leave. The time at which you pick up their order doesn't seem to matter. Or perhaps it considers both times separately?

how do you give a person more than one pizza when they have ordered more than one i seem too always get 50% cuz i do not know how to give them the other one or the other two or w.e plz someone tell with description?=)

While the game is very well made, there is the problem that once you've picked up an order from someone, they dont care how long you take to process it. They can wait in line for 10 minutes for their 5 minute pizza to be even put in the oven and still give you all 100%'s.
So basically, it prioritizes picking up orders > watching the oven > putting toppings/cutting the pizza.
The customers should drop their service score if they have to wait for too long (5 min + their pizza cooking time?)
Still, awesome game, 5/5

Awesome game, besides the fact that the time that it takes to make a pizza is completely off. It would be nice if you could use the tips for upgrades every ten levels or something, otherwise they seem pretty useless. (Who would want tips when all they do is bring in more picky customers?)

The tutorial really makes no sense, you can't tell what its trying to tell you, but once you get the hang of it, pretty good game. I've the same complaints as everyone else, should be upgrades buyable with tips, and time shouldn't elapse during cutscenes. Other than that, great. so 4/5

This is probably the first and only Diner Dash-style game that I've ever really enjoyed. It's also great at showing me how dumb I can be sometimes -- I never thought I could make it as a waiter anyway.

i really enjoyed this game
but i had to rate it 4 for the reasons people have already listed - why should time pass when you are in a cut scene - and there should be some kind of way of progressing by upgrading/spending

It really bugs me that you have to stand there and watch them put the tip in when people are waiting or pizzas are burning, but I still gave it five because this is exactly the kind of thing I like to see, even if the game itself isn't that appealing to me.

Sure, its a 4/5! Well made , It was a smooth game ; all in 1 , It was nice i walked smooth trough the game , gameplay was nice ,Thats my word

It's a very well made game, fun and accessible. I haven't fell like a chef from Pizza Tycoon back in the 90's. Simple, interactive and very fun. Indeed, the idea is stunning, but as a lot of reviews pointed, it does need some helping and natural elements. I will briefly present them, because they were already said: " You need to be able to spend your tips on something like more ingredients, faster oven, door bell (to know that a customer has entered the store), etc. " - dapbot ;l and a micromanagement component would be nice, but as early said, it's a simple game of cooking. You just happen to serve pizzas. So, to "not complicate" the review further, great job !!

Love the game, but I think that adding both Dapbot's and Bigsim's suggestions would really improve things, and make it even better.
