Under rating threshold (show) I was skipping planets left and right going way faster than any of my previous records and I had just completed a three planet skip when I missed my next planet and the sun which had sped up to catch up to me had already destroyed the planet I launched from... Being fast is a bad thing in this game because the sun speeds up and slows down depending on your progress. Which I find stupid.

Under rating threshold (show) I sure hope they don't put people in these ships..... otherwise I've killed quite a few astronaunts. All they saw was a large sun, getting closer and closer. Didn't stand a chance

Under rating threshold (show) Green and Brown camouflage in space? Only the geniuses of military industrial-complex could have thought this was a good idea. There was a slight mix up in procurement and consequently some of the oxygen tanks have turned out to be actual tanks. Special abilities: Smaller oxygen tank LOL

Under rating threshold (show) Ok, if the sun doesn't start exploding until AFTER you launch...why don't you just stay nice and safe on earth, where you won't explode from lack of oxygen, not to mention safe many innocent lives?

Under rating threshold (show) Am i the only one who doesn't know what 'slingshotting off a planet' is and only done it 1 time because of a sheer coincidence... >.> Awesome game anyway, 5/5 for sure, hope it gets badges :D

+ - !

(12)

Developer response from FreakyZoid

It counts a slingshot when you fly close enough to a planet to be affected by its gravity, but don't actually land on that planet.

Under rating threshold (show) I'd add a suicide button mabye so if you know you're not gonna hit a planet because your timing is off because by the time you get sent back to that planet it might already be close to or behind the sun

Under rating threshold (show) every other achievement is somewhat doable, but breathtaking flight is just way too hard! (tried with more air and less air, didn't get any easier) would be great if you could just increase the room for error by just a bit.

Under rating threshold (show) great idea for a game! would love to see more RPG style elements in the next one: add gravity or oxy to a ship that you like, would make for longer runs.

Under rating threshold (show) "Breathtaking Flying" is difficult to achieve but definitely not impossible. I've got 5/10 so far. I think it's easiest with the Space Marine, when you target a planet just out of sight and hit it you've got a decent chance to get a point in this.

Under rating threshold (show) Well one can find bliss in simplicity, or get bored by tedious gameplay after a very short while. I tend to the second aspect, missing upgrades, bonus for achievement and generally some new aspects of the gameplay, while getting deeper into space. still solid 3/5

Under rating threshold (show) I find it a bit too unforgiving for my taste. Too many times I was tossed into orbit without any way of saving myself from either being swallowed by the sun, disappear into nothingness, run out of oxygen and choke, or being hit by a meteorite. But I keep on playing....

Jul. 27, 2011

Under rating threshold (show) @gesyka79: Actually, the low time limit on the Space Marine is to help it die early if you miss. I think that while a Self Destruct would help the player, it would make the game a bit too easy; Then you could only die by being slow for some reason and getting hit by the sun directly. As it is now you have to judge from a planet whether you can make it or not and whether you will miss asteroids.

Under rating threshold (show) What i learned from this game: 1. The moon is AS BIG as earth 2. The Sun doesn't have gravity 3. When a sun explodes, it can expand by a lot. 4. Ships don't have anything which makes them move other than the initial boost By The way, you can infinitely survive by just staying there. the sun doesn't expand then.
