The level of a letter does a lot towards how much damage you can get per word. Yes, it is helpful to use a word like antidisestablishmentarianism, but that alone would do only 28 damage. However, no matter what type (jade, brass, or regular) a ball is, it will have the same letters for each level. Take this concept for instance. The letter B is a level 3 letter. Get a level 3 jade ball and then combine it with a regular B ball if the jade ball isn't already the letter B. Then, if you use it in antidisestablishmentarianism, the word now does 154 damage. All of this just because of one ball. The letters H and M are also level 3 balls, and if you get both of those along with the B ball in the word, it now does 462 damage. You see where I'm going?

i can't believe there are 80 stages. it took so much effort to get to the badge and out pops another page. this was fun, but 40 stages are more than enough for me, thank you very much.

generally the best way to beat this besides the system method ( S P = stapling sampling spamming spam spat spit spell splat splint spark expendables) last one bad example, is to upgrade everything for a up untill you reach 21 letters because if you have jade/bras when it reshuffles they come back again so you can use them 10 - 20 times in a round.
(using the non system method also makes it funner for people who are well informed in the area of vocabulary and spell well) But use the system method for badges or if you really are just playing this to brag to everyone how great a vocabulary you have and show this as proof

if you have one of those special 2x green letters, and it's an 'A', use "floccinaucinihilipilificaiton". It does a lot of damage!

thief111362: Proper names and places aren't words, per se. So England will not work. Try united or kingdom, those would work. :p Also, lego is not a word, it's a brand name. Sometimes brand names are adapted as common words - here in the States we might use Xerox instead of photocopy or Kleenex instead of tissue - but they are still brand names, not actual words.

Fabulously addicting game! Love the Victorian motif and the simple yet effective gameplay mechanics. This would be a riot as a multiplayer game. "Haha I beat you with flatulence."

Nice game, solid game-play, if you get really lost for words, but can type nice and quick, with a degree of accuracy, just start top left of your monitor and type every word you see on the screen, if you type them out fast enough (I'm at 80 wpm with 90% accuracy) you'll hit specials often enough to breeze through the game, also a really good way to beef up your touch typing skills.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, floccinaucinihilipilification
For useful play, find a core set of high value words and build your letter set around them. Pop them out each round. The game's pretty easy but also lots of fun.

useful words: ghastly, tungsten, satirical, equipment, quixotic, exonerate, fervor, and of course really really long words, such as sesquacentennial.

Fill the hopper with 5 of each F L and Y and some specials of those letters. The F and Y are worth 20 damage and the L 10. Then hammer out words like Fly Flyer Flying Flyby Flyboy Flyover Flypaper Fretfully Fully Fluffy Lullaby Slyly and so on. My average word damage is 55+ usually. Its a cakewalk then.

Strong words:
Xylophone
Pitchfork
Excrements
And if you're attacked really bad, try counting numbers!
One,Two,Three,Four,Five (so on....)
Try saying everything that comes onto your mind, not just words in the chambers.
like
Picture,Poetry,colorful,hate,hatred,kill,slaughter....
Okay my mind changes very quickly but oh well.....
Also get a book and type everything you see!
This strategy makes the game muuuuch easier!

I acclaim you. A brilliant game that brings entertainment and learning together. This pushed me to go learn longer words which improved my vocabulary. Good job! 5/5

its slightly annoying that the cannon doesnt automatically fire at the spider that is in front, since they are the ones carrying the papers.

btw i have a similar strategy to Elsean's; i try using various terms from science(s) that I know...including rocks, anatomy, etc.-btw, try 'rhyolite', 'vesicular', and 'schist' (the last of which *is* a real word-a metamorphic rock, mildly metamorphosed...<- try saying that 3x fast!!!)

just a random note-if you spell ether/aether, then try the other one, it says "already used" (in other words, they're the same one...just a 1-letter boost for that, kinda like '(o)esophagus' or 'am(o)eba' etc.)

Here's how you can do it even if you're not good in such games or not english native: Put only certain letters in the boiler and create a list of twenty-something words which all contains those letters and simply process the list without thinking. Of course, special letters like the exploding ones will help. I used A, S and P and used the words: scrape, stamps, jackpots, spatial, praxis, skyscraper, scraper, scraping, passing, pass, passive, passport, bypass, passed, spam, spamming, spams, staple, spale, stapling, praise, stable, stalemate, postcards, spade, spades, pays. It takes out the fun of this game a litte bit but it makes it easier for badge-whores like me.

Even non-native speakers can get hard badge. Just fill your chamber with only one letter e.g. W (plus few high-level brass\jade) and then just type all the words with this letter without looking much on the screen.
