My biggest issue with the game is that the author dares to call it, in part, a game of skill. Strategy is so incredibly minimal. You never have to choose how you use your dice; you just have to ask yourself, "Do I feel lucky enough to roll at least a 1 or 5 with the number of dice I'm leaving myself?" If not, bank. If so, roll. And then any amount of strategy you think you're using is completely trumped by the computer getting 5 of a kind the next round. This isn't any more of a game of skill than roulette.

I have been a huge Farkle fan for a long time, so when I found this version, I tried a few things out... Started with Reckless of course...won 2 games in a row by a pretty extensive margin. Then I lost the 3rd game by over 5000 pts. Then I moved on to Cautious and have not managed to win a game yet, out of 3. It seems that even though Cautious tends to bank smaller totals, he gets amazingly lucky with Free Rolls and high scoring numbers, whereas Im constantly getting stuck with 400-500 pts. Regardless of the seemingly biased "randomness" of the rolls, this is still my favorite version of this game that I've found online. Good job.

Wow, the computer got 9 Zilches and still won the game! I'd be annoyed, but it's just so unlikely that it's more comment-worthy than annoying.

Quit your bitchin' guys. I got all the badges in April/June, but I still play the game because it is fun and I am still trying to get those last few awards. Not always winning is what makes a game challenging!

I have lost 8 games in a row to reckless nit because i play particularly badly but because he rolls at least 3 2000+ point rolls each game.

Ok, roughly 15 out of 1,000 people will start up a game and the computer will RANDOMLY roll a straight first off the bat, giving them 1,500 points and a free roll. This game has 1,697,621 plays. So we could expect that around 25,000 people would have this happen to them. What's the bet that they all post in the comments to bitch? Well there are only 731 pages of comments so far, though the number of plays will probably be multiple. 13,095 Favourited and a rating of 4/5, so clearly quite a few people know what RANDOM means. If you post to complain about the random number generator, remember you are less intelligent than 13,095 people.

Guys guys, I just got 3 free rolls in a row in one turn, I think this game is rigged towards the player!!!!!! Oh no wait, it's just random. Silly me.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Actually thought it was a fun distraction, and as for being rigged, just because you don't win every time doesn't mean it's rigged, it means it's like life, you don't win all the time - and what fun would it be if you did?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I would like this game if it wasn't so rigged toward the computer. Last game the comp scored below 1000 once. Of course I lost, since I zilched several times.

God why is reckless winning on me so much, he got luck in 6 games in a row scoring over 1k each roll >.< irritating, cautious was easier than him
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the CPU players are ok, but the reckless player needs improvement. With one die left and 900 points, he will bank; but with one die left and 400 points after two zilchs he will roll - that makes no sense.

Lol, those mini achievements in there are fun, I just kept zilching against reckless for about a 15 minute game and came out with about 12 achievements in there.

I actually find cautious easier to beat than reckless :O! They're less likely to go on an insane streak and get 1003919812471284 points xD 63/100 awards now :) Still going :D

its stupid, u might as well make a flash version of draw the highes card or flip the coin! and make a award system for that.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the awards system of this game is a joke, its comlpetly random what award u might end up getting.
theres no way to "win" the game your playing if u bank evry time u reach 300 points u have 75% chanse of wining.
