I really liked this game when I first started playing it, but the difficulty curve seems to be steep. That or I upgrading the really wrong things.

Ikonx in real life flak cannaons dont hit the target directly it explodes when the pressure is too much for it to hold out. so this is more realistic than you think. i give it 9/10

Destroyed the first boss after he dropped his payload but before it hit and killed me.... Nothing was alive when the level ended and thankfully I got a victory screen!

lol @ Emrule : Those are based on V-1 rocket of ze germans, and also those rays are just scientific or one of the wonder weapons in late 1945 by the German scientist! Never actually put into combat but they were designed to!

A perfect game,really pissing me off at boss levels.Those huge costumised behemoths looks like street race cars like fast and furious.

where is the auto fire option??? I'm at the point where the balloons come nearly non stop and there is no rest between waves.

I've tried out many of the support guns, and I'd recommend the triple cannons. They level up really fast, and by the time you get four or five they chew through most balloons. They seem to fire faster and be much more efficient than many of the other guns.

@suffy You have to discover all of the covert operations of the enemy. This requires a 5-star rating on every level around each of the three covert operation levels, which you can't see until you get it. Just get 5 stars on everything.

4 years ago, we banned balloons from our country.. the country of Helium cut off ties with us as a result... now, the helians attack in their armada of party decorations...

First boss seems to have a limited ammo capacity, he nuked the first 5 of my cannons, then stopped dropping bombs and came around for a second run with just 10% HP left, easy kill from there on

I do get upset that the tesla towers don't do as much as you'd expect. They cost the most points, but the speed and damage are rather... meh.

I have played first 5 levels in elite and thunderstom getting 5 stars on each level, but I havent unlocked that hidden level, is that a bug?

This game is so addictive...Playing hard mode now, but the bosses seem to be a bit tough...Which sucks with its cluster bomb drop...Your certain to die if you dont kill it fast

hmmm thought thunderstorm would be harder than fuel of war since the thunder turrets are really crappy and the air support isnt as fast (?)

If you're gonna make the enemies harder to kill then at least give me more upgrades for my damage. I have full damage and I'm just barely able to kill balloons after the 2nd boss in elite mode.

I would love to see a sequel to this great game. Perhaps we could have different main turrets that we could upgrade as well,like a laser,mortar and minigun/machine gun turret.

Is it me, or is the Freeze Ray lacking usefulness? The ray is only large enough to stop 1 balloon for about 0.5 seconds, which doesn't really do much when there are already 20+ balloons on the screen.

If anyone is looking for any tips, I've got a few. First, make liberal use of your support abilities in all 3 campaigns. For campaigns where you can build defenses, this allows your defenses to level up to the point that support is no longer needed. For the oil campaign, there's no reason not to spam support.

Quick adition to the quick tip: Do not fire your main gun, and spam the air strikes. Forgot to say that in the first one.

By golly, I finally beat the final boss (elite mode). It takes some time and more than a little skill, but once you've five-starred every other level, even the secret ones, you should have enough points to max out the first two panes in the upgrade screen, as well as the last (Support abilities). Use your remaining points to unlock the thunder globe. In the last level, build thunder globes as often as you can and activate all Support abilities when those zeppelins arrive. The DPS of the thunder globes should tide you over until the boss, where it's just a question of timing your Support abilities and firing constantly. Good luck!

What do the gold balloons on the map mean? In the game there are 5 badge spaces for epic battle badges, but 4 gold balloons on the map, so it's not that... then what do they mean?
I think the battle map needs more symbols and a key (e.g. epic battle here, number of waves). I like the diversity of balloon shapes and sizes, and I like the backgrounds on the levels. Very good upgrade system too. 5/5

It took them until the last level to figure out, "wait a second why dont we build a giant nail gun?????" and the game is over the end.
