Hey, good work so far mate. I'd love to see this expanded on a lot - more permanent upgrades 9like the 2-shot and 3-shot upgrades), greater variety of flyers/spores and possibly even some choice on weapon type - slow area of effect, fast single line etc. Keep it up!

this definitely deserves an expansion or a sequel. i suggest some sort of Galaga style upgrade system, if you decide to go with an upgrade tree. you could give the fungal an amount of health based on color and use explosive weapons or a constant laser as some other trees. also, making it so that the spore, the white guys, do not go strait after you on there first run would be very helpful.

The art style is really great, I enjoy the heavy pixel look and the color shifts were very pleasing to the eye. The lag on the turret was somewhat problematic: a game's difficulty should never be because of poor input processing. I understand it was probably put in because on its own the game isn't very challenging, but I'd argue that faster spore growth and different "floater" behaviors would provide a better challenge than a sluggish turret. Similarly, I'd space the powerups out a little further, since there was a steady progression to 3x firing, and then it stopped, which felt a little weird. Maybe have spore growth speed up but have powerups continue to move through? Despite all this nitpicks, I think this was a fun game and a good job. 4/5

Good game. Good concept, nice execution. Some more frequent power ups (even short term ones) would be fun, on top of the bombs and shields and such.

It seems to be a good game, but I don't know if it's something with my computer or is the game that lags a lot while aiming.
