It is a good game, but the AI is hopeless. In the beginning of each of campaign, it attacks neutral territories with few units. Even when it should be obviusly that the attack will fail. As player you save units/money for one or more turns, before you attack a strong neutral territorie.

ok there should be a cancel attack button. its annoying to accedentaly send 1 unit against 12 die and be inable to attack again as we are now outnumbered -_-

Very good game. I think there should be a sequel, and if there is one made, then I think a multiplayer feature would be nice, and also giving catapults better aim, because their aim right now... Is not very accurate, to say the least. Overall, I think this is a good game and would like to see a sequel! Maybe a Ultimate War 2...

The pause button needs to be a pause and allow the General/player to issue commands. This can turn into a nice tactical game if I can tell my archers to hold position and not rush before my knights....can't do that fast enough considering the battle field is so small and everything is default to attack at will.

Simply need a way to choose routes for your army squads to take before the battle, make it more strategy based. Flank the enemy, position your archers, ect.

If you are orcs, best general army is 6-7 demons and the rest orcs. If you are humans then you need plenty of knights. Archers lose to demons but are perfect for backing up melee figters.

there are power ups for defending a region and summoning unites but what about power ups for attacking if you want some for attacking click on that little plus thingy on the comment:D

It would be awesome to be able to sell buildings you don't want.
Also the AI that takes over for you seriously needs work. It casusally spends 50% of my gold (some 800 or so) on the begining land.... Which was at least 4 hexes away from danger. Building a sprite defender thingie.

well this is nice got a good battle system nice game experience whit a bit of cons but this site site should really add more games that are similar to this game so but it would be nice to save in the mission and this game really really Really needs upgrades,besides that this an epic game so i highly recommend a sequel really it was fun to play(add + if u agree)

I like how you can win with one group archers against a whole full army by just citcling around and shooting one shot, walk, shoot another shot and go on so. once deafeated a whole army with one archer with this thing

can we like have a "champion warband" per warband type say dwarves, champ dwarf warband and dragon and greinader and gargoyles

Best armies for each race : Orcs : 12 warbands of demons ; Humans : 4 warbands of knights, 4 warbands of archers, 3 warbands of sprites, 1 warband of catapults (humans are a bit shaky so feel free to experiment) ; Dwarves : 12 warbands of dragons (dragons are THE best to use against melee attackers , however they'll easily be defeated by large armies of ranged attackers and are also quite expensive, an option is 12 warbands of gargoyles which are awesome and can take down a strong fort all by themselves).

it just occurred to me that when listing the backgrounds of all the races, orcs and humans are at war but there is no mention of dwarfs at war..are they just a third-party that want in on the action?

Brilliant game engine, with the hexagonal grid etc etc - nothing really needs changing as such, just stuff added. Other races, tactical placement of squads before battle, that sort of thing.

very good design. I'd recommend undead and elves. Custom races are a pain. 1 or two more units would be good as well. Orcs should have mines, not lumber yards. Also, when your gold is below a unit cost, you can not de-select the unit. 5 stars, not because it's perfect, but because its got very great promise.

hmm...,this is an excellent game although dwarves are over-powered but to expensive orcs are weak but cheap and can easily out number he dwarves witch is a whole new ball game I WOULD GIVE THIS GAME 5 over 5 just needs more creative warriors

Towers everywhere.... And the orcs are using mass battering rams :D

the AI needs a fix... you have to make them target the units FIRST and THEN the buildings, not randomly... ive had several battles where i couldve won if my archers didnt start shooting at a tower, but had picked away the units and THEN they couldve taken out the towers easily :/ else a great game, but still needs stuff that people have allready said... Upgradable units, storyline and such stuff, it makes it boring just to do missions without anything to really change the gameplay... 3/5

can you do a second game like this??? Also dwarf is the only race that has a tier 4 unit that is not garbage. And also make another race like elf or undead.

@dodo9789: you gave this game a 3/5 because you couldn't take a base? that's pathetic. what about all the good things about this game, does that one flaw cancel out all of the good parts of the game? look at the game from all views. i gave this game a 5/5.
