Chaotic Brain's comment needs to be in the top five. Vote it up. Once I found them though, I'm still not sure what to do with those clue, especially "NW star shines West"

I wish there was a way to piece together a map, it couldn't hoold me in long enough to want to find the last one piece i needed.

Deep atmosphere & background supported by a basic gameplay ; a very nice feeling of completion at the end of the game. 5/5

(Continued) (e.g mixing up the directions of where the lights are supposed to be). This led to some frustration, and the feeling of wandering aimlessly through places I had already been countless times yet finding nothing at all. It's nice to see an artistic game that isn't a sub-par platformer trying to pass itself off as an artistic game by adding a few lines of text. My thanks for reviving my faith in the genre, I expected no less from the creator of The Majesty of Colours - 4/5

I loved how the game forced you to put the pieces of the puzzle together (both literally and figuratively) by yourself. You weren't spoon-fed the story like in other games, instead you received but fragments, and eventually, a whole picture. That players received outside perspectives on the various races (e.g Lorem's views on Seecha machines, Seecha's thoughts on the Lorem pantheon) in addition to traits and history about each race also added a lot to the story, giving players a glimpse of the relationship between the two races, and the Oarbor. It also fell upon the player to make the connection between two puzzles, such as the Star signposts and the lights, and the signposts themselves. My only complaint is that it is sometimes difficult to find out where to start solving the puzzles (e.g one signpost reads "East of the Second Signpost", but if the player doesn't know where the first one is, it is bound to cause some confusion)

this is probly the worst game design I have ever seen. Your looking for white dots in a field of white dots. theres nothing but crappy useless dialogue about things i simply have no interest in. and sign posts looking for sympathy send you on scavenger hunt for more pitiful sign posts. they never even help you in the game. im currently looking for the last three pieces and it is the epitome of the term "trying to find a needle in a haystack". i have learned nothing from this game, this story was told in the worst possible way, and there is literally no thinking or gameplay in this whatsoever a simple computer could play it and win and he would feel just as emotion emotion as i have

There is no clue which indicates that you should do this, so for the sake of helping people out of retracing their steps again and again, I offer one simple clue: Check the four corners of the map.

Dear January,
Looming is a very interesting place indeed, but I'm in desperate need of your love. And a minimap, for this place is so big and I get lost surprinsingly often.
I shall give this game a 5/5 when I get home.
Yours,
September

It is decent for it's genre of game. A lot of people don't go for this sort, but some do enjoy playing a small game to find out a story. However, it gets really, really dull near the end, when you are missing just one piece from each collection and don't feel like scouring the whole map.

i got everything, think im supposed to find portals for each set of artifacts and go in each one, once ive done that i think the game ends. Problem is, i cant find all the portals and i dont want to wander the familiar spaces for hours only looking for them to not find anything. Getting just the usual "oh hey ive been here before, lets take a really long walk in a different direction"

Awesome game so far, still haven't complete it. Took some time to find out what to do, to be honest, I still really haven't figured out the actual meaning of the game yet! xD
Like those riddle-like science related pieces of information you get. It's like a game (i lost the game), where you have to find out what to do to win, and not like in those boring games where nothing happens, but in a nice and creative way! :)

The developer did an excellent job with map design. Through the lack of a map (mini or otherwise) and the black-and-white, mostly identical imagery, the player feels lost for much of the game. But at the same time, he was careful to make sure that each artifact or important location is tied to the paths, even if loosely. There is no need to go wandering aimlessly in the dark; even the hidden signpost ending has a scavenger hunt feel to it, so it's not unguided. Additionally, I love the indirect storytelling -- it makes you feel like you are really exploring, not just having every detail handed to you. Excellent atmospheric game.

When I saw in the notes that Yume Nikki was an inspiration for this game, I was not surprised. As soon as I started it, I got the same feeling of uneasiness that I got playing Yume Nikki, which is very good. While the atmosphere isn't as eerie and heavy (which is probably a good thing considering Yume Nikki is crazy enough), it was very unsettling, and pretty involving; I really liked the absence of music and colors, and the backstory we had to search for. Well-deserved 5/5. Anyone who enjoyed this really oughta try out Yume Nikki, it's an unique experience, and the creepiness remains unmatched. Fun fact: I actually found the map fairly easy to navigate; at least, it's not one of those looping voids of blankness, and it's not that big. Good job.

it's a little difficult to find those objects because they look a little like the rest of the game... Anyway nice game 4 of 5!

Extremely beautiful and unique. I hope the author of this game releases a longer, more interactive story and keeps making games.

I'm always a stickler when it comes to learning about a game's back-story, even more so when it's a good one. With something like this, it's hard for me to not appreciate the immense thought and creativity that went into the creation of this game. The artifact hunting was a fine way to sprinkle the carefully-made parts of this game's narrative into the gameplay, while still making the user think about where it hasn't searched yet for the next piece. For those of you commenting on the game as being boring or too long, think about this; One wouldn't read a history book for an action scene, and one wouldn't go to see the latest action movie simply to learn about the area it's set in. For what this game is meant to be, it's simply brilliant. It gets a 5/5 from my book.

It was a great story until he/she threw to many stories into one. Too many cooks spoil the broth.
Also finding artifacts can be a very long, miserable task, and to be honest, a minimap would be very benificial, not because you wouldn't get lost, but you could know where you've been.

This is a brilliant game, I found myself hugging the walls for fear of being lost. Reminds me of a book i just read called "House Of Leaves"

In case you have any valuable insight (I, for one, couldn't tell you where any of the stuff is/was located) it's the 5th Oarbor bone.

I can't believe the simplicity of this game can still create such a great story and experience, I still have 4 ending to look for, it's hard finding them. 5/5

great game. However I spent the last 15 (perhaps 20?) mintes looking for 1 (that's ONE) artifact and not finding it. I'm very frustrated.

Can anyone help me get to the 9th ending? I've already collected every item, but I can't find any new portals or puzzles.
