Under rating threshold (show) bugs when you create a mega tower with sniper and fire rate combo ( which i bloody recommend stuck next to a stun and range booster ULTIMATE COMBO!) It doesn't do any damage! :(

Under rating threshold (show) All you need to do is build one area damage that takes ground units and one that takes ghosts and build 1 fire rate and range upgrade tower next to these so they make a neat square, after that, spam the send wave button and upgrade as fast as you can. Now just sit back and watch everything die!

Under rating threshold (show) if your going to add in behaviour changes to towers than at least do it right. it infuriates me that i cannot get my poison towers to constantly change targets no matter what i do to their behaviour they will focus on one creep until its dead. This sucks.

Under rating threshold (show) Many bugs, it got stopped after ending first 50 waves of lvl 1 normal. Also in middle game, the disable creeps got stunned by aoe dmg towers and my bubbles and scores started to increase rapidly, them when my score was enogh high and i'd infinite bubbles, i clicked in a tower and it got debugged and i could finish the lvl with tons of mega towers.

Under rating threshold (show) Is it just me or is this game hard to navigate?? I mean how do I see achievements? I have to wait until end of round? I agree with Gedge, too much selection, need to just have stages like all the other defense tower games, it's a pain to have to reset what you want over and over.

Under rating threshold (show) 10. Using the 'Next Map' feature won't give you an achievement for the next map(s) played. Going back to the menu and manually selecting you map/difficulty does. Too bad, because that's many more clicks. 11. Merging tower costs (for MTs and MMTs) do not get reduced after buying the upgrade (at least the old costs are being displayed). 12. The damage/fire rate/range boosters were already available in the game, so unlocking them was a waste of 30 XP. 13. When both 'reduced ghost towers costs' and 'reduced sell back penalty' have been applied, you get back more bubbles than you paid for a ghost tower! This way you can generate a lot more bubbles to start a map with. GAME BALANCING FLAWS: These are not bugs, but design issues that are probably worse than any of the bugs mentioned above. A. Since 2.0 you get rewarded in bubbles when calling waves early, but the reward is much too high (see B).

Jan. 13, 2013

Under rating threshold (show) B. The overpowered area burst towers (that even get more range with an upgrade?!!) in combination with the bubble reward makes ever map an easy game, even on insane mode. You just call all waves, quickly build 2 burst towers (one for land and one for air) with a few boosters and you can sit back without doing anything. I have not allowed myself to call any wave early to keep the game interesting, but this also means I can't compete for a highscore. I would reduce the AoE of the burst towers and reduce the bubble reward (by a lot!) to make the game as nice as 1.0 and 1.5 were. I can recommend anyone to play version 1.5, which includes all 1.0 maps as well. C. While the waves of enemies seemed to be balanced from map to map in version 1.5 (just like in DTD), in 2.0 they seem to be the same for many maps. This could use some fine tuning, because now it's becomes a very repetitive exercise. You want to make your players think a about every move they make!

Under rating threshold (show) I've only played long enough to get the easy badge, but honestly I don't want to continue with this game already. So far it's been incredibly repetitive and grindy. Each level takes a good twenty minutes to complete, and for what variation? All I do is build stripes to make the longest possible route, then throw maxed out stun towers on the end of rows and surround them with high damage towers, then rinse and repeat. So far, I've not seen anything that did well against this tactic. Maybe it changes up later into the game, but when it's already taken me well over an hour to get through the first five levels, I don't want to throw multitudinous hours into the rest in the hopes it may become more varied at some point, when after the first eighth of the game I'm seeing no variation. Maybe once I run short on badges to get I'll come back and take a look at this again, but as things are? No thanks.

Under rating threshold (show) If you're going for the hard badge, unlock the "all splitters" and "all ghosts". These are super easy modes to get more levels completed. For splitters, just have 4 AOE towers. For ghosts, have 3 Ghost Burst and however many plain ghost towers you feel like. You can send 20 waves at a time with these two modes.

Under rating threshold (show) Other issues. It's pretty easy to stunlock enemies , often outside of the range of all your properly damaging towers, splitters sometimes just wander through solid walls, no "send all" function, despite it often being the best way to complete the game, Still nothing telling you how effective slow/weaken towers are, no "achieve easier difficulty/achievements". Also, the game lacks some of the "fun" levels the previous ones had. There's just too much missing.

Under rating threshold (show) In case you're trying to create mega towers for cheap, the cheapest total cost for a fully upgraded tower is the stun charge 3. 295 bubbles total, not including the ten for the original tower. The sniper tower is 365 total not including the original ten. So, if you're building a mega tower away from the main battle and want it to be fighting, four snipers equal 1500 total bubbles, one sniper and three stun charge 3 equals 1280 total bubbles and just four stun charge three equals a very low price of 1220 total bubbles. Keep alive!

Under rating threshold (show) I was hoping there'd be a higher upgrade this time around (tower, megatower, megamegatower...). The navigation is interesting, but as mentioned, NEXT shouldn't take you to a level you've completed. Huge fault in the game however, when you summon large numbers of waves, there is a limit for how many enemies come out at any one time. So I could be at level 1400 in survival, but the enemies coming out are still those from much earlier levels. This allows me, especially in the regular levels, to summon everything at once and still have reasonable time to build towers with all the extra bubbles.

Under rating threshold (show) The area burst towers need a major nerf. Majority of maps can be beat by creating a 2x2 box towards the center of the map with a ground area burst, anti-ghost area burst, speed boost, and power boost. Minimal mazing needed around the box. Completed several maps with less than 10 towers w/o juggling, sending every wave right away. Only mode that needs some juggling with this strategy is boss mode. Made it to wave 1400 in survival with 4 mega-mega towers of the above mentioned towers. I quit, b/c nothing was making it on the screen b4 being killed.

Under rating threshold (show) Having played this game some more, I can't shake off the feeling that this game should be so much better. Discovering that the Area burst towers are so overpowered the only other tower you really need is any ghost tower, yet sometimes still fail to hit every target within range. Learning that you have to play every previous level on a difficulty to unlock them all for later levels, while the game even says that easy's meant to be too easy (Should be a choice of either normal/easy or all the "regular" modes, then unlock everything). And yet still more glitches and oversights. A shame.

Under rating threshold (show) I think the new experience features are pretty cool, but I miss the specific challenges and level selection design of the first BTTD. This just seems a little... eh. Under rating threshold (show) You should be able to play modes on levels that you haven't beat on the previous one. They are not actually in perfect order of easiest to hardest, especially for some challenges, so it seems odd to limit our ability to play them. Sure, there should be some limit; you shouldn't be able to play the final map on insane before you beat the first on easy. But I don't see why the extra modes (all dodge, fixed mode, night watch, etc.) should be so limited.

Under rating threshold (show) Anyone else having problems with towers getting deleted randomly when you click an upgrade? Had it happen a few times, thought I accidentally clicked delete so I became very careful of where I'm clicking - NOPE, sometimes when clicking an upgrade, the tower gets deleted instead. I've only noticed this with heavy lag though (from calling waves early) - this is fairly annoying, don't know if there's a way to fix this (maybe a prompt, which can be enabled/disabled by the player, which pauses the game and asks the player to confirm they want to delete a tower?).
