8,000 levels, no save. So, basically, I have to devote an entire day of my life to this. Yeah, not gonna happen. I'll just have to accept that there will be an embarrassing hole in my badges for this. (Also, *medium* badge? Why not impossible?)

I hate this game since the Badge of the day! I cleared 700 bubbles and didn't get the badge. After reloading the game i got the badge for killing a big enemy i killed like 100 times before...

I think the only problem with this game is the lack of an auto fire. However, it's such a massive problem that this game isn't even enjoyable because my wrist and index finger get so tired.

wow... took me 20 minutes, you just have to get the final form for your tank & it makes the rest of the game a cakewalk. my strategy for the final boss... POINT, SHOOT, & DODGE !!!!

How to beat Bubble Tanks in three easy steps.
#1 Set aside one full day.
#2 Spend fifteen minutes becoming nearly invulnerable.
#3 Spend twenty-three hours and forty-five minutes searching eight thousand bubbles for the boss.

I updated my previously overgenerous rating to one star. The whole combat system stinks, it's too easy to get forced out of the bubble you're fighting in, and it's far too easy to get picked apart. It would be difficult enough using a mouse, but it's a real pain using a laptop touch pad.

i hate when you lose your upgraded form when you take a shitton of damage & the only way of getting it back it to go through hell in your 1st form, trying to kill enemys that are way overpowered & outnumber you >:(

I had to download an auto clicker just to beat this damn thing. Incidentally the game became more enjoyable once I did so.

I liked some of the newer bubble tank games but this 1 is just awfull in every way, there is nothing entertaining about it. The keys stick. Sometimes you don't get the badge due to a bug. The chance of gaining more bubble then you lose in a fair fight are pretty low, and there aren't alot of fair fights.

does anybody else have the problem where i press a direction and my tank moves nonstop in that direction? i know its got something to do with my keyboard cause this isnt the only game it does it to, but the keys arent being held down by anything and id like if somebody can help me?

the future games are sooo much better. although for me with my crappy pc, the entire series is rather laggy (so essentially spray the entire bubble)

I am with a laptop and the game is great(for the original game), but i am stuck on the bubble tank with a small and a large cannon, with a nice glowing shield like bubble around the tank.

1st bigger bullets, move too slow! 2ndly different colored bullets would be nice, so I don't think I'm just passing my own, n then get hurt.

Player: "Man, I can't believe it destroyed almost all of my tank..."
Horatio: "I guess you could say that he... Burst your bubble."
YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

There seems to be a glitch with getting the badge. The bubble monster seems to be just a normal enemy tank, albeit the largest one, so if you've killed a lot of very large tanks, and can't find any larger, restart the game and try again. First attempt, I got the glitch, and killed a few hundred bubble monsters without getting the badge, second attempt, I got the badge in about 2 minutes.

Well, this review is going to be biased due to the fact that I've played the other bubble tanks games (BTW, Hero Interactive really improved the game. You should play the others.) First off, it needs a mini map (which was added in Bubble Tanks 2) and a pause screen (which was added in Bubble Tanks 2). The final boss took way too long to get to, and was pretty pathetic considering how a bubble filled with tiny shooters would be a lot more difficult than one large spawner with a couple cannons. (Don't worry, the final boss in Bubble Tanks 2 is epic). Also, it is nearly impossible to shoot anything unless you spam the mouse button (But Bubble Tanks 2 has a click and hold shooting style). Finally, it would be nice if there were different choices of tanks rather than one path of upgrading (If you haven't figured out where I'm going with these parentheses, I feel pity for you). Long story short: This game was crap, but Hero Interactive's later versions in the Bubble Tanks series are great

every time i play this my tank goes irresponsive and just moves in one direction and wont stop. this really ticks me off. -5/5

No one with any pride at all would have ever published this pathetic game. No one with any sense would have made it badge of the day. The single buttonmashing playstyle is mindless. The inability to rebind that singlebutton to a keyboard where autorepeat would make it quasi-playable is moronic. The fact that all bubbles that you knock off of other tanks disappear when you get bounced to another node is absolutely ridiculous. Along with the fact that all tanks restore to full health when you get bounced as well. Fail game, there isn't a rating low enough for it.

Another thing I don't like is how you can't lock into one Bubble so you don't accidentally move to another bubble when you're skimming the edges to dodge.

everytime i try to play this game, my control keys overdo it, and i lose control of my ship and lose all i had, is it possible to add arrow key control?

Bubble Tanks 2 is MUCH better than this one. You have auto-fire, a mini-map, and you can choose how you upgrade your tank. I still like this one though, so 3/5 Stars. Strategy for this game: Go in a spiral from where you start, defeating easy enemies so you can upgrade your bubble tank. Your final upgrades in this game is getting 3 guns, then getting one small/fast and one large/slow gun, and then the final upgrade is a faint and then bright shields. Once you have the shields, just head in one direction as far as possible from where you started, and after about 30-50 bubbles, you will come across the boss.

It's really sad that developers don't update their games. I know there are many Bubble Tanks versions since this one came up back in 2007, but it would seriously be great if they would at least add the necessary usability features that people are asking.
Constantly clicking to shoot in a frame game is annoying not only because of finger strain, but also because you'll find yourself clicking outside the frame into the site. Not once did I click a link on the page and had to start all over.

Since you can't see your enemies when you shoot them, it'd be only fair if their shooting was a bit random too. Just like every other game in the Bubble Tank series, this one is awful. It's just mindless clicking randomly until you get lucky enough to earn more bubbles than you lost. Seems like one of those games the creator didn't go through the trouble of playing to check if the game was actually decent.

Is this game even fair? After about 5 minutes, I lost any bubble cover I had, and concurrently sand-bagged from one screen to another before it decided to ping-pong me between two screens. The homing ones didn't seem to affect my character at some point, but it didn't matter as they were slow and I could just shoot them. At one point collect bubbles didn't even work. You also move a bit fast, as I can hardly stay within a bubble, and losing all progress is frustrating as I'm trying to whittle down a large thing with no health and a peashooter. Are there bigger guns? That might help as enemies seem highly overpowered, come from all angles, and sometimes aren't even in the arena when I'm shooting. I've also been hit when there was no bullet around me. Rather frustrating game.

I had a small ship that shot a spread of 3 fast bullets, then it upgraded into a big ship that shot a regular bullet and one giant slow bullet... Hooray?
