Am I the only one that lagged almost this entire game every time I clicked outside the window?
I am running but Chrome and it did it also on Firefox
I have almost nothing running. It would be nice if we had quality options

Sorry to say it but game is a peice of crap. Lags way too much. By the time I got the 3 tapes the game restarted on me!!! Can not understand why a point and click game has to lag so much!

this is the end of Alice is dead for me... the fish rain causes lags problems and the white rabbit died watching a locked door.

How fortuitous, I had played the first two but not the third, and playing the The Hood games a couple days ago reminded me I should finish this. Then today, this is the badge of the day. Maybe I'll call it a sign.

@jeenyus
Hey Genius! (pun intended)
I'm pretty sure if that was the problem, most of us would have figured that out, you just got lucky and for some reason your laptop isn't affected.

This lag literally killed this game, and I'm not saying it just made it unenjoyable, but completely KILLED it. One of the most important parts of playing a game is to be able to actually play it, but every time I start it up, it slowly starts to lag, and it ends up crashing my browser because of it, I can't even figure out how to open the lock to this guy's fortress before the lag causes the game to crash.

I fought my way through the lag on the first of this series, was pleasantly surprised at how well the second one ran, but I can't get this one to function. I've tried using both IE and Chrome on a laptop running Windows 7. Everything else was closed, but it still wouldn't work with either browser. It's very disappointing as I was looking forward to playing this.

I have a cheap laptop that is a couple years old. I had NO LAG. Not even for a second. I would imagine those complaining either have an old-as-dirt computer or are in need of updates. Computer 101: Close unused programs; Don't allow Windows to update when you are playing games; frequently check for updates--such as browser and flash player updates; if your computer acts erratic--do a thorough virus check with a renowned program.

WOW! this game would have been pretty nice, but the lag RUINED it! the whole game through, there was lag. certain parts had worse lag, like once you enter the lab, but there was no screen where the lag wasn't there. another particularly bad part was the entry of the club.. with the dancer, drinkers, and walking guy animations, the thing practically stopped completely.. playing in chrome, it gave me the unresponsive error and asked me if i wanted to kill it more than once. OTHERWISE nice visuals, good story idea. if it weren't for the lag i would rate this game quite highly, it just took too long to play, waiting for the lag.

Like many others, I'm having serious lag issues. I'm using Windows 7, Google Chrome, on a computer that I just got out of the box this past February. (I tried it on IE, as well.) Once I get to the alleyway, it's so laggy as to become unplayable. I'm very disappointed, because I love the rest of the AiD series and the Hood series, so I really want to play this one! I hope it can be fixed!

This lag........... it's everywhere, and it's awful. Otherwise, the game seems pretty cool, if you have the patience.

When you call the number on the second door, it gives you the message 'Alive Slice'...If you're any good with word scrambles...

Well guys, I had the lag problem on Chrome but then I tried it on Explorer and it worked with very little lag. Maybe just try different browsers and hope for the best. It's a good game but I can only give it a 3/5 for making me switch browsers.

The sign that says 'PAR' in the alleyway sort of looks like the 'OBEY' logo when you don't look straight at it.... Anybody?

Played AiD 3 first, and I gotta say--LOVE the atmosphere and dark humor. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to Kick-@$$ White Rabbit right after meeting him. So SAD! At the very least, the "elevator going up" line, ending quote, and after-credits cut-scene had Rabbit executed elegantly. Kudos to the publishers on creating a memorable parting. Overall, the mood will have me playing AiD 1 and 2 and eagerly awaiting the fourth installment. (Of lesser importance, please include a quality control to help prevent lag issues--thanks for your hard work!) 5/5

Yep. Lag. It starts when I first start clicking on stuff in the city (picked up the brick), then freezes my computer periodically throughout. I don't have the world's best gaming computer, but neither is it a paperweight.
I had to give up once in the office, because it took me 30 minutes to get there. I was thinking it was the grainy image effect that was causing the delay, but it started pushing my CPU usage to 100% before I clicked "start." As with Brilliand, I noticed that camera/microphone are being accessed.

I managed to make it through the lag, but then again my computer has the same specs as a cardboard box with a dog turd in it, so I can't blame the game for the lag. Try opening a new tab and jumping back and forth, it helped me "beat the lag" a bit.

Getting major lag here too... it freezes my whole browser for 10-15 seconds. The first time it happens is when the phone call appears, or shortly after (I've had varying success with closing the phone message before the lag starts). That's in Chrome... Firefox won't load the game at all for some reason?

Is it a rabbit hole or a wormhole? It not only lags it freezes. I cant get past the queens message, so I flagged it. Sorry...

also also, I tried to turn down the quality in the settings by right clicking. The menu showed microphone receiveing input, maybe the webcam too, but I don't know for certain. Those might be the things to check.

lag as well, as soon as you hit the street where the arrows point down and to the door with the key pad. I'd tell you more but I can't due to the la+CARRIER LOST+

Laggy, slow, and thus infuriating. The developer really needs to rethink how this engine is set up. A game should NOT have 3 seconds between when you move your mouse and when the cursor actually moves.

Can't get badge of the day, and it's not because the badge is hard or anything. The game just is unplayable due to the lag.
