I'm not sure if this game is supposed to be a platformer or a puzzle game, but it fails as both. The first level with something that might reasonably be called a puzzle is level 22 (you have to use portals AND ice blocks without being explicitly told to, which isn't much of a puzzle, but it's about as good as it gets). The controls are awkward, so most of the challenge of the game is dealing with the frustrations of trying to wall jump, and trying to remember in mid-air which button to press to get the color you want. For some reason the boss in level 20 is the same as level 10... I really don't see how this game is supposed to be fun. It feels more like work.

this si so frusterating with the controls sticking. i will not be getting these badges until the game is fixed. 1/5 until fixed. sorry.

Game will not work for me. I can barely move at all. It just jumps to the left and I don't even press anything. It's rather annoying. =/

i know i'm one of many but my controls keep stickin. it's getting really irritating. i tried exiting the game and coming back to it and the same thing with the web browser AND the internet...

I find the controls alright. However I can't put into words how much rage level 28 has put into me. Good game up until then

why the heck isnt the movement/jumping mapped to the arrow keys, and the color change on the left hand somewhere. I keep getting key conflicts when trying to jump right and change to red in mid air.. (d+w+k keys).

Same as Magpl2, started out as a clear 5* game but controls (not sticky but configuration and jumping method) ruined it, immediately reached 1/5. Sad.

5/5 for idea, 5/5 for level, -4/5 for controlling character! controls are awful! I often died because of irritation or control mixup.

great game!!
but please make your highscores visable while choosing a level. a total highscore would also be neat =)
oh, and a restart shortcut, too.

I played this game further, after my last comment, and found myself rage-quitting from the game. THere is a borderline between challenging (the fun type) and annoying (the hate type). I am sick of wall jumps and the slow buttons. Level 14 took me 13 minutes to complete, since it was nothing but wall jumps and perfect timing. The next levels after that were more perfect wall jumps, which finally made me quit. You worked hard on this, but I am sorry to say that I just find it impossible to play and enjoy. Maybe if you tweaked the controls, made customizable keys. (JKL? What the heck?) and got rid of some wall jumps, many more gamers would come to play it.

I would suggest making 'J' the color that you originally start with, or if nothing else order the 'J,K,L' to be the same as the load screen.

wow, first time ever a game didn't load on kong
I've heard many people complain on some games and didn't understand it but now i do ... This screen just stays black :| Anyone know what i should do?

The starting idea was OK, but the controls are horrendous in design and unresponsive, while the stupidly high number of spikes betrays a lack of creativity on the developers' part. Oh, and the timed wall jumps really killed the game, turning it into an exercise in pointless frustration.

I feel bad saying it since you obviously worked hard on this game, but I absolutely hate it. I like the idea. Hate the implementation. I appear to move much, much slower than enemies to the point where it looks like I'm in slow motion. I catch ledges about 50% of the time. The buttons work whenever they feel like it. And the only reason the first boss battle is even remotely difficult is because it takes so god damn long and the buttons don't always work. I have to wait for him to spawn, walk over to him, see if he's going to choose to attack me this time, and repeat umpteen times since in my play through at least, he just refused to attack, which aggravated me beyond belief and completely killed my desire to play this game any further. Sorry.

!press + if you want this hard badge to be impossible! this is the hardest hard badge by far i have ever seen and there are lots of easier impossible badges. if you are having problems with sticky keys try downloading firefox. it works fine for me.

Painfully annoying to play. Apart from the controls (which are poorly chosen and not customisable), the truth is that the game is trivial and boring for the most part, until you get to ridiculous wall jumping areas, which are just annoying (note: not the same as "challenging"). They wouldn't be so bad if the game wasn't so slow... there is no excuse for a game as simple as this to run quite this slowly even on a reasonably good machine. It's the variability of the slowdown that kills me... I might need to jump off the wall 0.3 seconds or 0.6 seconds from now depending on slowdown, and in this game there are places where that is a critical difference.

Good concept, good puzzles, but horrid controls. I tried all of my internet browsers with this game, and each one still had problems with controls. The first boss took me forever because the Ice guy refused to make ice blocks, even when I was slamming on the space bar.

Nice design ruined by bad controls and programming. While key presses are never responsive (especially changing to Yellow), lag increases while playing. When the game becomes impossible (too slow or character moves on its own), refresh the browser. Might seem too fast for a few minutes - won't last long. Hint: If you get stuck, you forgot to use Yellow's teleportation. For bosses, stay invisible L-S until he appears close, S-J-SPACE-L-S creates ice. If he hits the ice, S-K and spam SPACE until he disappears, then L-S and wait.

Could be good except sticky keys=fail. I spend half my time playing the game of trying to anticipate when I am going to run to my death.

Unforgivable lag and unintuitive uncustomisable controls ruin what could otherwise be a really fun game. The map design is a bit lacking as well, often forcing you to make a leap of faith, or just run around a pointless maze. Still, there are some nice ideas here. It is just a pity they weren't applied better. [3/5]
