Issues with lag (forced to exit to exit/re-open game several times just to make it playable) really killed this game. Unresponsive key presses, having the player take 5 seconds to complete a jump, running after a key is released, all made it a very frustrating experience. I'd suggest anyone playing after reading this restart their browser each level after 20 until this issue is addressed. One level which should have taken 5 minutes to complete ended up being stretched to 5 times that amount.

I tried putting an ice block under a door and the door came down fine with the ice block over it. It would be cool if you could make it such that ice blocks can be used to block doors. Just an idea.

simplier way to defeat Overlord: start as blue, avoid all O's attack until you see blue crosshair. spawn there ice block and go to another platform. when O hit ice block, switch to red (you'll see red crosshair) and burn him! repeat 3 times. keep it alive :)

i love when i sit here smashing the space bar while on the blue guy and nothing happens and then the overlord moves and then it works randomly. This game would be easy if only the controls worked.

I give it a 3... this game clearly needs some fixing. I've seen game with sticky keys but nothing as bad as this one. The game "looks" awesome. The idea is great, the graphics are cool. The difficulty is adequate. But seriously, fix it... thanks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, wall jumping seriously suffers from the sticky keys -- I can't count how many times I've been trying to ascend a corridor, only to have the character suddenly drop straight down from a wall jump.

awesome idea control fail, ridiculous wait time after using door or jump or ice... unclear as to whether you need to put ice at the target or stand at the target and make ice at first boss, too angry with controls for now

Very smooth animation, graphics, and fun gameplay. BUT the controls are irritating. Try to offer more than one control scheme. In fact, just add mappable keys to make everyone happy.
Good game, excellent animation, crap controls

Beating the overlord after you figure out the correct sequence is actually easy. Fun and some of the later levels are very difficult. There's about a half second cooldown after using an ability before you can change colors. The wall jumps are a little tricky, really they just take practice though. 4/5

I enjoyed this game a lot. Sure, the controls were akwards, wish there was an option for using Arrows instead of WASD, thought I did get used to it after a little while. The levels were intuitive enough (glad there wasn't any intensive puzzles requiring lot of portals) and most of them were fun, especially after I got the Red boost. The last two bosses should be different than the first one thought, they were easy because I already knew how to beat them from the first boss.

Alright, this is getting out of hand. You guys clearly did not test this game thoroughly enough. Level 28 is demanding that I be able to contort my hands into shapes I didn't even know were possible. Rating this 3/5 until the gameplay is actually properly tested. Really disappointed that this got badged.

I don't think the concept is THAT original. Its just like those games where a certain character has a trait and you have to use them all in a way, it just that in this game you choose the traits on one guy.

Some muddy controls and incredibly frustrating, but the quality is undeniable, and the sense of accomplishment from winning it was palpable. Sometimes the controls do feel a bit clunky, and reformatting them might be nice, but I would be wrong to give this game any less than 4/5 in my opinion.

I really want to love this game because the concept is really good, but the controls are irritating. The wall-jumps in the middle levels made me quit the half-way through.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
These controls are epicly terrible. I don't think constructive criticism will help you after making such horrible decisions to begin with.

The 'R' button needs to be more responsive. It feels like i have to press it six times to get it to let me use a portal or a door. It works just fine for other games and while typing, so, I don't think it's my keyboard...
Still, well-designed game and concept thus far.

An unfun game with an unoriginal concept. Switching between characters does not add fun, only tedium, and the majority of the difficulty stems from what are possibly the worst and most unresponsive controls I've ever seen in a platform.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Giving an honest rating, I love the level design, and the graphics and music are perfect to fit the mood of the game, but I can't say that I enjoyed forcing my way through this game. When the game runs fine for the first few levels on high quality, but slows down to a crawl on level 27 lowest quality, there is something wrong in the size of the objects you are trying to get flash to process... Maybe break up the levels to save us all (who don't have supercomputers) the trouble of repeating a level hundreds of times, not because we enjoyed it, but because every move causes lag and sticky keys and a whole plethora of other problems. I'd give the gameplay 5/5, but after playing it, I can barely scape it a 3.

for me, the controls don't work. i had to try to figure out that "h" walks me to the right and "," makes me jump. wtf?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ charrrlie, its on purpose... and also GLITCH!!! if you are below a door, and u release the button which the ice cube is holding down (aka change colors) u can walk in the walls!! (like shift)

At first it was a great game. Great concept, great art, nice platforming, etc. etc.
And then I got to level 15. No, no, and NO. Wall jumping like that is a sure way to get me into a rage fit.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Love it as an idea, but it's starting to become a struggle to enjoy. Controls have all the ergonomics of a radioactive cubist hedgehog, and unlocking stuff (I'm looking at you, portals) don't create more fun, just more irritation. Add that to the unresponsiveness of the aforementioned awfully-laid-out controls, and much as I want to love this game, I just can't. Which does make me sad.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is fun, but it would be a million times better if the developer wasn't in love with the god damn wall jumping
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You've got to be joking me. These controls are incredibly awkward and not very responsive. The game itself has a big memory leak somewhere and causes everything to slow down over time to the point of unplayability -- if it's crippling my overly-overpowered computer, then something's wrong.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I would have enjoyed this game a lot more if it wasn't for the massive memory leak and it being about 10 levels too long.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game's timing is really glitchy. Sometimes my guy will randomly accelerate to about 2x speed at the most inopportune times. Other than that I actually really like this game, strange controls and all. I like the slightly different variations on the same music for the colors especially.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I agree with everyone on the slide jump. This game really needs to allow the character to wall-jump or slide-jump as many times without having to switch walls. This lack of foresight hurts this game considerably.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Seems like a fun game that was made well, but it runs really slow for me even on the lowest difficulty setting. This makes me sad, I'll have to play this on a faster computer. A platformer really shouldn't take this much processing speed, though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
These controls are ridiculously horrid. Actions like walljumping are made much harder than they need to be thanks to unresponsive controls. This game had so much potential, but now I'm having a hard time seeing past it.
