This won't be everyone's cup of tea but it's a rich, heartwarming, optimistic game which has obviously had a lot of love poured into it. In a world of drab grey shooters and orc-ridden RPGs, this game dares to actually do something beautiful and say something wonderful about life.
I think we need more games like this.

This game is just like "Last Rose in a Desert Garden": I have to have at least two tabs open to look up all the references on Google and Wikipedia... And then I lose myself in all these stories until I finally remember that I am actually still playing a game. 5/5

I'm sorry but i play games because there is a shiny thing splashing across the page or another shiny thing is using it shiny weapon to attack my shiny thing. Not to read, and its quite hard to read because when i play this game it feels like im on acid ...

Oh god, that was funny. Well thought out and some of the best optional texts I've seen, you really should try taking the time to read things.

It's a good game. If anyone thinks it's too much reading, they don't have to play it. I'll admit that some bits were a bit weird, but the ending made me feel just a little bit better about life. So my question is, why rate something like that down?

I really liked how the game ended. The game was also very funny...after seeing that some morons rated it down for not being able to read, I automatically rated it 5/5...and after completing it, I'm happy to say that rating is justified.

This game is both beautiful and inspirational; and the story is what one it for me, along with it's funny sense of humor. (5/5)

Great references, and thanks for making everything clickable :)
I may have to reinstall hero's quest after playing this.
