Under rating threshold (show) So aside from the complaints about the coins vanishing, it'd be nice if we could rearrange the keys to suit our personal preferences. For example, it would have been easier for me to play if the Items and Spells keys were switched. Anyway, still enjoyed the game and I'm hoping to see more games from you like Siegius (or just even based on it, like this one).

Under rating threshold (show) I see a lot of complaints here, just thought I'd mention that, even though the game has a few kinks that should be straightened out, it's still a great game. The most important thing, I think, is the coin gathering. It would be cool if the coin magnet would be much stronger and if the coins lasted longer on the arena. :) Again, great game.

Under rating threshold (show) This is a game with a lot of potential but is lacking in a couple of factors. First of all, we can buy a potion to gather all the coins but its not all that usefull if coins dissappear in a matter of seconds. The move mechanisms are very slow. If I wish to turn because an eneùmy sdlips past me, it first wants to finnish the complete combo attack but by then I get blasted by 3 mages and 2 assassins cut me up. A custom key figuring is always a bonus to add. And if you really want to make this top notch, add a simple leveling system with a few perks if you level like more health or a dash ability. Dashing really would be usefull to get to the mages hiding behind a wall of defenders.

Under rating threshold (show) spells suck, not viable at all. coin mechanic sucks, been said. moving attack, been said. cant grind to compensate for my skill level, i am stuck and have the best available items, why cant i spend all my extra money to make myself a bit better, this isn't fun. nice game, cool art style needs game play improvements. 2.5/5

Under rating threshold (show) Personally I didn't find anything wrong with this game. While it may be true that the coin system is a pain still but you get use to it. As for the controls ZXCV are directly below ASDF so I don't find the problem. Although in saying that it would be nice to be able to change them to what you want. Good Game.

Under rating threshold (show) If you can fit 90 or so people in the market walking around and spam talking for no reason, there's no reason why coins should disappear to lower lag. I spend more time hovering near bodies than I do actually fighting.

Under rating threshold (show) Here a good critque of this game. It has a good story, nice variation of weapons armor and spells, the combat is playable, the fan system is cool, and the enemies also greatly vary, keeping the player guessing. Here are some bad parts. The coins disappear too fast, the player must run through crowds of enemies to get to coins, the players character shouldnt move forward while fighting, the spells are next to useless except for the area spell, which requires no aiming, player should be able to block, the ultimate thing makes the player take a few steps back before swinging due to stepping forward, and the player should be able to switch the action keys. It's rather hard to hit the spell key without accidentally hitting the potion key and wasting a potion.

What the is with enemies just being able to run into me during my attack and hit me? If duel weapons are supposedly stronger then why can I lawnmower 90% of enemies with no issue using them?

Under rating threshold (show) I want to love this game, I really do. I love gladiator games. But this game is bogged down by so many poor design choices (Most notably, the controls) that prevent it from being good. I just can't enjoy it...

Under rating threshold (show) Controls are a little annoying. Not the key layout, I'm OK with that. But I'd like to move or at least face the other way when I push a different direction key. Coins are annoying. I'd rather get payed by score.

Under rating threshold (show) I agree with basicly what every is saying. coins vanish very fast and that gets annoying. moveing forward with attacking can get annoying also. If you were to add/change a few things such as, either get rid of coins vanishing or make them vanish ALOT slower. Get rid of the moveing forward with attacking, or make it somewhat controlable. And basicly everything unrealfox said. 3/5

Under rating threshold (show) The major problem I’m facing is hit detection and hit boxes. I bought the Bolt magic pretty early because I figured that enemies would run right into a straight line if they were chasing me. Two problems: One, the animation runs longer than the actual damage hitbox. I was thrown off so many times by the misleading visual that I’d take in hits that I otherwise wouldn’t. Two, the hits just whiff the AI a lot of the time, and trust me people have already voiced this with the forward movement during normal attacks. While we’re talking about attacks, how about having to wait until the full animation of the normal attack is done to move anywhere? This poses such a huge weakness since while you’re wailing on one guy, anyone can just run up and rip your backside a new one with very little chance for you to dodge.

Under rating threshold (show) A small skill system, and a few passive cosmetic items would actually make this game far more successful. Things like badges that improve movement speed, attack range, pick up distance, or health regen would be nice to see on badges, rings, or necklaces or any other items of the like. This game has a lot of potential since it's clearly alive and ... moderately complex. Honestly, it's the underwhelming combat and lack of any real skill required, that makes this less enjoyable than it could be.

Under rating threshold (show) No purpose for the training ground, so why even have it? Can't select items for use, which makes it particularly unpleasant to have the Golden Lager at 0 when I need a heal. Moving forward to strike is not only annoying but, considering this guy was supposedly a general, somewhat stupid if you're going to do it every time. The marketplace is not at all what a gladiatorial slave would be allowed to traipse about in. Altogether, it's a cute game, but there's a lot lacking. 3/5 at best.
